  1. How many postponements have we had so far this year? (Not delays, postponements)
  2. See the video I posted. He may have been dazed immediately after but he wanted back in there. You could see it on his face. He was determined. So much so he came out a second time. And it still takes two to tango. I agree that Anderson was the aggressor, but Ramirez could have walked away. I'm well aware of Anderson's reputation vs Ramirez', still, it takes two. And for the whole melee that followed. Boys will be boys doesn't cut it for me. It's a stupid rationalization.
  3. Here is the whole video. You can see that Anderson is fighting being pushed off the field. And it was the second time Vaughan just picks him up and takes him down the dugout steps. He might have initially been dazed, but he was fighting, both times, from being pushed off the field by his teammates. In the end, imo, Anderson was the instigator. He'd already received one warning from the umpire about his jawing at a rookie player for the Guardians. And the other night pushed someone off base with a hard tag, and Ramirez said he'd been making really hard tags on people. That's why you see Jose get up and gesture 'Wtf, man?' (At least that's how I interpreted it.) I don't know what fines or suspensions will get handed out, but I hope Anderson gets the most in both. And I'd really like to know what Grifol said to Francona that triggered Francona. But Francona's response 'Boys will be boys' (in his post game presser) just made me want to throw up a little. Ugh. Poor excuse for grown men letting their emotions run away.
  4. Watch the whole video when he comes back out on the field. He knew what he was doing. I'm not saying Ramirez didn't get in a good one, but as they were heading to the dugout he was fighting it, didn't want to go in, until Vaughan picked him up and put him in there. He was lucid enough to come back out.
  5. Yeah. Francona said Gilfol said something to him. To get Francona that irate must’ve been something good
  6. He wasn’t knocked out just down. He got up and his teammates had to forcibly remove him from the field. Vaughan literally picked him up and put him in the dugout, the first time. And his teammates had to take him off the field a second time
  7. From what I read at the time his recovery was estimated at 6 weeks, I think. So might be another two or three. But I haven’t heard or read anything lately about him specifically.
  8. It takes two to tango. Whatever was said everyone else certainly played their part
  9. I still can’t figure out what all happened, what started it, and how both managers were ejected along with those who weren’t Anderson and Ramirez
  10. I always do when I see that clip of him coming out for the last time and he’s in his catching gear
  11. No, was responding to your comment about how long they waited. In the past they have waited far longer to put players on the IL. While it could have been sooner, it's not nearly the wait they used to put everyone through. And what is the injury? Haven't heard anything. How serious is it?
  12. I haven't been paying attention ... did he sit a week of games or something?
  13. Let's not make things personal or about the poster, please. If you disagree with the post itself, rebut the post. But let's not make this about an individual poster's character and grammar. Thanks.
  14. I get that and see that. However, your chances are better you will have a stronger pen by not relying on AAA guys or AAAA reclamation projects. Yes, you do hit it right on from time to time with those types, but your chances are better if you aim higher. Imo.
  15. Polanco might draw interest from a contending team, but you would have to find a team who has excess on the area we need. But until we know for certain when Lewis is coming back, I’m not ready to trade Polanco and his bat. The way Kepler is playing currently might draw interest, but if he continues playing as he is, he has value to us. Miranda isn’t a crunch on the 26-man, he can remain in St. Paul. It is time to part ways with Gallo, though, one way or another. If we keep Polanco, Royce may end up in the OF.
  16. Who is going to buy those players and give us anything in return to help us the rest of the season? A team rebuilding will want prospects in return for MLB players, and a team in the hunt is going to be looking for better.
  17. Where do we play Lee in the future?
  18. If Lewis is prone to that injury then it will be a problem for him wherever he plays and wherever he walks.
  19. You must’ve seen your reflection in his armor
  20. Next summer let’s plan a house swap over Lolla weekend
  21. I didn’t know Ozzie was an outfielder!
