    I think most of us agree that the Twins need a SS. I want one who is a really good defensive SS. There is enough hitting to make up for any lack of offense at SS. I would rather have Simmons for 3 years and keep our prospects, than Baez for1 year. and trade away one or several of our top 20 prospects, one or more of whom will become solid ML players in a year or two.

    Bring up Lewis and use him as the super utility guy to take advantage of his many defensive talents and to give him the needed major league experience now, rather than later.

    Tom, I just looked at the images of the Pensacola ball park and the Wichita ballpark. One stood out by leaps and bounds over the other in my opinion. I'll not say which one looked better to me, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it will be evident if you look at multiple pictures of both the ballparks.

    Interesting proposal. I'm reminded of the race car driver who said, when he say a wreck on the track, he pushed the accelerator to the floorboard, because he knew all the other drivers were letting up.

    Ted, I am sorry about the loss of your father. 2020 has been a terrible year for a lot of folks for a lot of reasons. However the loss of a father is particularly painful and makes one circumspective. I had no idea how painful the loss of one's father could be, until I lost mine 9 years ago I suggest you remember the good times. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. David

    2020 has been a bad year all around. I did not enjoy this baseball season. I missed the minor league games and the fantastic minor league TD reports. The statistics, which help make baseball so important to me, were meaningless this year. We couldn't go to the ball parks. Covid-19 has been awful. At least we have intelligent, mature, polite politicians who are governing us...oh wait ...did you watch the great debate last night. Good grief! .

    6th overreaction: I know I overreacted with my 9th inning throw of my laptop at my tv. . I replaced the laptop tonight. The new TV will be delivered tomorrow morning.

    Great article Nick. Thanks. I do have one minor point: Jeffers graduated from UNC-Wilmington, not UNC, which is my alma mater, and is located in Chapel Hill.
