    You misunderstood my quote last year. I was serious. I really did like your hope filled optimism. You were optimistic. I liked it. You were hopeful. I liked it. In fact I have a poster in my office, which I face every day as I sit at my desk. It is the poster of the movie, "It's A Wonderful Life". I hate gloom and doom predictions. You spent a whole year feeling like I was being critical of your article. I was not being critical at all. I was trying to compliment you. I apologize for not making that clearer a year ago.

    Ryan Pressley, Nick Anderson and Liam Hendricks sure could have helped the pen this past season.

    Forgive me if I don't jump on the Rendon band wagon. His price may be inflated due to his recent post season performance. The main reason I object to going after Rendon though is that AFL MVP Royce Lewis is on his way to 3B, possibly as soon as September 2020, or Lewis will go to to SS if there is an injury to Polanco, or to SS or 2B if Arraez is injured. Or if Sano is injured, to 3B..That would improve IF defense, give the Twinkies mas POSITIVE energy and a singles, doubles hitter, plus some much needed speed on the bases. Lewis was #1 for a reason. Now is the time to start, what Humphrey Bogart stated at the end of the movie, Casa Blanca: "Louis (Lewis), I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship".

    You are not "just a guy on the internet". You actually were good enough to be paid real money to play baseball. Every one of us contributors at Twins Daily would love to have had that opportunity. We are your "groupies". We are all interested in your perceptions of spring training, what players in the low minors think about bus travel, whether you have seen a change in the nutrition program and training with weights since you started with the Twins organization, whether you think the baseballs were juiced this year, etc. We have tons of questions. Thanks for agreeing to respond and for your answers.. Speaking for all of us at TD, I can say whether you are starting for the Minnesota Twins, or playing in Rookie ball at Elizabethton, we all are fans of the Twins organization, and especially the guys who actually get paid to play. So thank you for taking time to respond. I can assure you we are interested in your perspectives.

    Luke Raley is having a good Fall (hitter of the week) after being injured last year. (Ankle). He is a good fielder (plays some CF and 1B) and bats left-handed.

    Very interesting scenario. However with the Twins proclivity to blast bombas and sometimes get early leads, how would this Relief Ace Rotation work if the Twins were leading the Orioles 7 to 0 after 5 innings and it happens to be the day scheduled for the Relief Ace to pitch? Does he pitch anyway to protect the 7 run lead against a weak opponent? Or is the Relief Ace saved for the next day, when the score may be Yankees 12 and Twins 3 in the fifth inning? I think because this move is scheduled to take place later in an ongoing game, in which the probability of victory for one side or the other may be high, that there are too many variables for this to be the most productive use of the 3 best relievers, who would be wasted in a game which has, in all probability, already been decided. Maybe this issue will be addressed on the third article of this series tomorrow. Thank you for a thought provoking proposal.

    How much money does a person really need to be happy, to "take care of his family", to do good things in the community? It's all relative.I really think location is very important. If my family, my mom and dad, and my brothers and sisters lived in Minneapolis...that is where I would want to be. I live in North Carolina because that is where the majority of my family lives. What was it Kirby Puckett said when he took less money to stay with the Twins? I bet it's done a lot of the time.

    He certainly does not lack arm strength. He needs some of Berrios' mobility drills.
