    Just wanted people to know that the debit cards started going out (if you didn't select direct deposit). They come like one of those pre-paid credit/debit card flyers; a thick pack of gobbledygook, and a debit card. I didn't see anywhere on the envelope or inside that said anything about Frontline Workers, or anything, including the amount on the card. My wife said "look at this, it looks like one of those more elaborate scams" and was going to throw it out. I said "let me look at it" and looked up the Frontline Worker program, and sure enough online it says you'll be getting some sort of "Reliacard" card in the mail and sure enough that's what it was. But it sure looks like spam/garbage. So Heads Up!!!

    No stealing my idea; I've been saying for a while now that we're going to end up with a full staff of "3 inning/once through the order guys" that can go every 3 days.

    Hated the Tribe during the Crooked Cap years; actually liked (might be a bit strong) the Chisox during the A.J. and Ozzie years, for the sheer entertainment value.

    My only guess is that they want to get them out there in plenty of time for the Holiday shopping season.

    Well, then you have the whole 'sexism' thing. Should one of the two be female? At least fraternal twins are something that happens from time to time. Or do you go with adrogynous figures and rename them Chris and Pat? I don't think there's a way to "win" with any sort of change TBH.

    Why am I envisioning a classic pinstripes uni with the old-style Twins font slightly tweaked/colored? Well that, and after Phil Miller's Strib article, I'm guessing that Minnie and Paul will no longer be "Twins".

    Well, at least we had the FO/Baldelli show to watch. Oh, and horrible fundamentals across the board. Think of the half dozen times a game where you were 100% against the decisions being made and got all stirred up. Imagine if everyone DID play up to their potential, made fewer errors, took the extra base, and Baldelli let the SPs sniff the 7th inning. With all the injuries, would even that have been enough to make it to the postseason? Maybe. But boy how boring it would have been.....

This is the Twins' crack medical staff, where 'bruises' turn into broken bones after a week or so; and 'strains' turn into 'torn this or thats'; This is just their first optimistic guess. I'm going to go big and bold and go on record that even if he makes another start this year, he'll come out early, and then we'll find out the actual level of his injury.

    Thanks for saving me from essentially typing this very statement. Only thing I'll add is that I believe the "OK-edness" goes all the way up to the ownership.

    Where did he have the surgery done? I know Tria does a 'fast track' style of rehab where you start PT (even for an ACL replacement) just days after the surgery, whereas TC Ortho tends to go with a 6 week immobilization then starting rehab/PT.

    I guess I'm just disappointed; obviously, there are no guarantees that the results wouldn't have been the same, but had Miguel shown up in Fort Myers in 'baseball' shape, eager to take instruction, and put in the work, and it just didn't work out after all this time, it would be easier to take. And he's gotten paid and will be OK; It's just all the "what ifs?" that sting.

    C'mon man, you're triggering flashbacks of the greenie fueled, 20 hr, "pee stops only" road trips to my grandparents in Shenandoah, PA as a kid; with me and my 2 brothers in the back of the '70 Dodge Dart getting squirrelly 10-12 hours in, where the large glass of ice water would come flying back over the front seats. "That oughta cool ya off!" God forbid he pulled the car over....

    6:40p.m. game start 9:40p.m. game end 15 minute 'break' 75 minute show So, you'll start leaving Target Field at about quarter after 11. I wonder if they'll extend the light rail runs since the last ones (blue and green) leave at 11:15/11:20.
