    It's like real estate,it's all about location and Paddock can't find it.There are pitchers throwing all across the league in the low 90s.They did say last night that Varland seemed to be taking a little more time between pitches.That is and has been his problem,rushing pitches.

    SWR is showing a lot of confidence on the mound and seems to have a plan.When you watch Varland he looks like the ball is too hot to hold on to.He is throwing not pitching,needs slow down and relax.

    It is time to be concerned about Lopez,he looks like he is fighting every pitch thrown.He has not looked good for weeks,yes he had a good outing against the Astros.But you can't say he looked good in this or that outing.And the BP made this game way closer than it should of been.They now have the A's for 4 that will not be easy.

    Signing Santana and playing him over Kirilloff day after day has effected his play.In the off season he thought 1st base was his to play.The situation with Julien was once Polanco was traded 2nd base was his and working on his defense hurt his offense.

    There's getting hit by the pitch and then there's getting hit by the pitch.When a hitter is hit in the butt or the back it is not the same as arm or leg.So in my mind if a pitcher hits a hitter on the back or the butt 3 times he is gone.

    The game is called baseball,the object is to score more runs than the opponent.A sac fly helps to do that.The game is going in the wrong direction with the homerun becoming the end all be all.Last night the offense didn't come alive,they made a weak starter look like a Cy Young talent.He averaged less than 10 pitches per inning through 5 innings.Hopefully Varland has learned something in St Paul and gives the team a chance to win tonight.

    Don't get to excited,3 runs in the first a wild pitcher to get the 4th run.Then needing a 10 inning and another wild pitcher to pull this one out.

    Rocco is the puppet of the FO,the only thing not seen is the strings.You have to feel for SWR,he has pitched his butt off for weeks.This team is laughable and has zero chance of the playoffs.

    If Lewis can stay healthy and get 400 AB's he should hit 80-100 homeruns.This is the team we have,its all about the homerun.They will only play homerun,they can't situational hit that is why they lose.

    All I can say it is laughable to think this team will be a playoff team.

    His so called 5 tool talent has been wasted on him believing he is a power hitter.And now everyone is moving on to the Lewis train.You listen to Cory P and that is all he talks about is Lewis hitting it out of the park.

    Same old Twins,they see the pinstripes and are a bunch of turtles pulling their heads back inside their shells.Then of course Correa the so called team leader strikes out 4 times.If people think ha we have the Pirates next,good luck.It is time to find something else to root for.

    The last time I looked Santana has played 1B for years.I would think he knows if and when he needs to toss the ball to the pitcher.The team has many other issues to be working on.

    Julien has to go down to St Paul because he was caught between pitches.You can't stand in the box watching pitches in the zone.He should have watched Miranda's at bat the other night when he saw a dozen pitches.He needs to swing the bat at close pitches,not stand there watching strike three.As far as the Lewis situation he can play LF if needed,so Miranda is at third.

    Some players need to play more than one or two games a week to show their ability. You can see he is happy to play any where he is asked to play. Once Lewis is back he should get a break,so he doesn't wear down.

    He needs to step away for the rest of the year. His problems have gone from bad to worse. After he left the Twins which he requested,he had issues in Miami as well. He even went back to Baltimore where he was before being traded to the Twins. I don't think the language thing has anything to do with what is happening. It may help if MLB steps in and suspends him. The reason being is that there are team's probably looking at signing him. Like the saying goes you can never have too much pitching.

    We have a manager that lives and dies by Analytics. They tell everyone that Ober pitching against KC is not a good idea. His ERA is over 7 and climbing when pitching against KC. And now as of 4 innings today with the all RH bats in the lineup they are losing again. When you live and die by the numbers you over think what needs to happen.

    Varland has to hope for a visit to the IL by one of the SP to see another chance.SWR has pitched more than well enough to stay in the rotation.There is a problem at this time with Duran,he has been pretty shaky in closing out games.Hopefully Ober will have a better outing than the first time he faced KC.

    It doesn't matter who is calling what pitch if it is thrown in the hitters happy zone.Lopez is not a 1 he is at best a 3 and its time for them to realize it.The next 4 games will determine the season for this team.The Royals are not going away and Cleveland isn't either.

    Great win today,but need to be concerned about Julien.If the umpire is calling strikes a couple inches off the plate in your first at bat why stand there on strike three in 2nd or 3rd at bats.Maybe time to send him to St Paul for a lesson on his spot isn't a guarantee.

    SWR should of been aloud to get the 3rd out after pitching that well.It would of been a confidence builder to get the win.And Abrams is in a slump right now,let him pitch.As far as the rest of the team goes 2 solo homeruns and a late game double and single doesn't mean the team is back.

    I want to know who will have more fans in the stands Friday,the Wolves or Twins.If stats are so important for Rocco he would have seen Lopez has a losing record at the Nat's.And why is Kepler riding the bench,he has been hitting LP.You can't have Vasquez in the lineup because his whole game has been a disaster.What I see is a 4th place team who can start making golf reservations for October 1st.

    Throwing 86 mph meatballs in the middle of the zone has never worked.Why pitch Duran who throws 98-102 when the whole pen throws 82-87 meatballs.Then of course you decide to put Naylor on who is a free swinger can you say dumb. If people think it is going to be a cake walk in Washington they are in for a rude awaking.

    All I can say is this team has become unwatchable.I think it is time to blow up the whole thing,starting with the FO.I am so happy I didn't pay for the MLB TV.

    How many years now has Left field been a black hole.I have lost count of all the players that have been out there after Eddie left.He did seem to throw the ball to the wrong base,but he did catch the ball.Everyone knew Buxton would not be available to play Center the whole season,not resigned MAT was a mistake. Its time to throw out the sausage,the magic is gone.
