CRF

He's really lost at the plate right now. Almost makes you wonder if there's something physical or personal going on, that hasn't been revealed or discovered yet. Hopefully, he's ok and snaps out of it soon. We sure could use him being back to his norms.

Well..it appears we're better than the ChiSox. Let's keep it going and have a good road trip.

Bad haircut and all...the little guy has some pop in his bat!

Another awesome job by Santana.

Hey...they woke up! Let's go boys!

Another game where we can't do absolutely anything at the plate. Down 2-0 in the 4th. C'mon get something going here!

The Sox pitcher, Soroka, was a top Braves prospect a few years ago. He had some injury issues, and I believe he tore his Achilles and had to have surgery twice on it. He missed a couple years after that, and he hasn't been the same since. I kind of feel bad for the guy, but let's beat him anyway. Hopefully, SWR has another good outing. Get out the brooms!

Did I say chicken prawns? Oops...I got side tracked. C'mon Joe...keep the damn ball in the yard for a change!

Rocco playing lineup roulette again, or throwing darts. Your guess is as good as mine.

Are we going to knit a victory tonight, or just Crochet one?

Look at all the rope this organization gave Sano over several years, and he couldn't hit a breaking ball even if he was swinging a damn telephone pole (that's how old I am). Would Larnach strike out 100 times over the course of a season? Yep. Would he hit 25-30 HR's and drive in 80-90 runs? Maybe...probably. Since Wallner cratered this spring, keep Larnach in the lineup and give him a shot against both lefties and righties. See what happens. I wouldn't give up on him just yet. He'd go somewhere else and a smart coaching staff would make a tweak or two, and he'd be damn good.

There's a lot to chew on here, and there's plenty of blame, and places to look at. My opinion only...I don't think the schedule has much to do with it. You're going to play those teams at some point anyway. What's the diff if you play them in April or August. Sure the players have to perform up to, or reasonably close to expectations, and that sure hasn't happened. That's obviously on them. I believe that ownership and the FO go hand in hand at the top of the list, with the manager/coaches a notch below that. The payroll cutting was a joke. You can't convince me that ownership couldn't keep it at least at last years number. That sent a very bad message to the team and the fan base. The moves that Falvey made were a complete disaster. Not signing a decent starter, or even two, after Gray left, trading Polanco for pretty much nothing, and then bringing in Santana and Margot. All backfired and are hurting us badly. I really wish some other organization/team, would fall in love with Falvey and make him a "Godfather" offer. All the injuries sure didn't help things either. In addition, there seems to be some kind of disconnect between whatever our manager/coaches batting philosophy is, and what the players should be doing. The strike out or home run style of play, with nothing in between, works great...when it works. When it isn't working, you have to try and play small ball and make contact. Get some runs across the plate somehow. That's on Rocco and the coaches. We certainly have our share of underperforming players, that are killing us. I do think that some of the players will start to get hot and get better results, I just hope it isn't too late to turn it around, because we can't play the ChiSox every game the rest of the season.

Definitely concerned about Lopez. Hopefully, he's ok. Ugly win...gotta beat these guys. Despite Rocco's genius managing, we pulled it out. Go get another one tonight with Ryan on the mound.

10 k's for Fedde...ugh.

An early night for Pablo, is not what we needed. Looks like we're back in do nothing mode at the plate.

Unfortunately, he's not overdue...he's overdone.

Unfortunately, this is the way it's probably gonna play out. In fact, with reduced playing time, he might last the whole season. This FO are experts at that.

I vote for a couple weeks ago. Is that ok?

One game at a time. Let's keep it going.

The battle for last place begins tonight!

He's currently too valuable as the "mop up guy" long reliever, after our starters get shelled. Leave him in the pen...for now.

It makes for a very, very, long season when things start out like this. Could things somehow turn around? I guess it's possible...heck, anything is possible, but I really can't see it happening. Ownership and the FO let the team and the fanbase down, but they don't swing the bat or pitch...that's on the players. This is an organizational failure, from top to bottom. Everyone. All the progress that was made last season, is totally gone. Changes need to be made.

Caleb Thielbar is just as bad. 🤪

Ah Louie, you showed such promise...what happened to you? I think StP is your next stop. Go down and get fixed, and get your mind right.

Don't count your chickens just yet, on that one. We're gonna find out if that's true in the next 10 games, because 7 of them are with the Sox.
