    Kepler has worn out his welcome as a hitter who doesn't make adjustments ( mostly because Rocco bats him 4th and he doesn't belong there in the batting order ) ... His defense is another matter and is definitely above average and keeps him in the lineup ... He has value in a trade but just how much I can't speculate , there are suckers born every minute , trade him ...

    The trade .... Did the twins win the trade , I don't really care ... It did get donalsons attitude out of the clubhouse and urshela was a above average defender at 3rd base in my eyes and he had a better average in 2022 than Donaldson ... In comes Correa after dumping the salary of Donaldson and his leadership and attitude helped the clubhouse ... Yes it was a mistake to sign Donaldson after the 2019 bomba squad and the money should have been towards an ace , stud , bulldog pitcher ... The money is wiped clean with the trade and Correa opting out , so now go out and get that pitching ace and a bullpen arm ... The twins did save some money by trading donaldsons contract in the long term and signing Correa to 1 year contract ...

    Lew Ford is still playing in the east coast just notch above town ball in the Penn league I think .... There's quite a few players retired from major league baseball that are still playing in America or internationally ... Yes we need a shortstop but I haven't given it much thought of who is possibly available ... I'll wait until it's official and the list of free agents are available and evaluate teams shortstops that might be available in a trade ...

    I agree but the fo really has been screwing up the trades by acquiring damaged goods and reducing the prospect talent in the system ...

    Julien looks like a good hitter , doubles and alot of walks so he has a good eye , looks like he can hit for a higher average and has power potential to hit around 20 homers in a season .... He has some versatility ... We might have an opening at first base , maybe they should take a look at him for first base since his arm strength is weak ...

    Here's a theory .... Dfa pagan and because no one in there right mind would sign him to a major league contract as a free agent , Then the twins could re-sign the very talented ( so they think ) pagan to a minor league contract ... I say good bye Ron Davis .... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    1 more year for Enlow on the 40 man roster so he can show us if he has fully recovered from the tommy john surgery , young and still a prospect for at least another year ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    It's strange that they didn't try and trade him when his value was peaking ... Smeltzer is a starting pitcher because his mental preparation is better for a starter ,,, I always thought he pitched better as a,starter ... He'll latch on to another team and do okay , he's a lefty and also you can't have enough pitching but the FO evidently thinks we do .... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Catchers should be a leader on the field but because the FO ( which is our leader ) likes yes men we are going into the off season in need of a solid catcher ... I'm sorry but jeffers is not a solid catcher or a leader on the field , doesn't block well and can't throw out runners and he is definitely not a leader in the field yet .... WHO cares about pitch framing , oh that's right FO and Rocco ... Find a solid starting catcher that can call a good game with a good repor with pitchers , block and throw , hitting would be nice and be the leader on the team .... Alot to ask but as meatloaf sings 2 out of 3 ain't bad ... We can't put all our eggs in one basket , it's a sure failure ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    The biggest single flaw with the front office is that they think they are the smartest people in the room .... They doubled down on the worst coaching staff for 2023 , if players can be replaced with better talent so can the coaching staff ... This is reality and not negativity ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    I just cant see this team shaping up under the present coaches , manager and FO .... the coaches and manager do not have there focus on the game and if the coaches and manager don't have focus them how do you expect the players to have focus ... There is so many problems with their plan that it will not sustain a winning team ... I'm still predicting sonny gray will ask for a trade .... that's my plan and I'm sticking to it ..

    Someone has to be held accountable ... The coaches have not impressed me to believe the players will be any better in 2023 season ... These are talented players , tap into that talent and make them better , every player can improve if they want too ... I don't see the manager or the coaches expressing any desire to make sure the player exceeds ... Kepler is a prime example of not making adjustments as his hitting has suffered since his career year of 2019 , they play kepler for his defense and has no reason to be batting 4th in the lineup .... Nobody really likes changes but sometimes a different perspective in change is good , in my opinion the coaches lack the mental part of teaching our players the true game of baseball , fundamentals ... What are they afraid of by teaching fundamentals the players could get injured ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Look forward to watching major leaguer ( arraez ) play for the twins for many years and win more batting titles and all star appearances ... I agree with some posts that mvp should go to a position player and not a pitcher ... Luis was a spark plug for the twins and so was Gordon who went unmentioned , Miranda had a good rookie season and I hope he continues to get better and better ... Heck I hope the whole twins team can get better and better ... That's my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Of all the mentioned players above , they all did a tremendous job pitching and for the most part staying off the injured list ... Hope they all have a great 2023 cause we need pitching ... I'm still predicting sonny gray will request a trade ... That's my story and I'm sticking to it ...

    Good luck to Mr hustle ( cave ) in Baltimore , they presently had room on their 40 man roster but could easily be dfa'd later ... Wish him well ...

    Way to go flash Gordon ... You were fun to watch and I believe you could be an ignitor at the top of the batter order ... Batting lead off with arraez to follow ... Twins did it with tovar leading off and carew to follow , many runs were scored by that duo ...

    My choice would have been in the same order ... Duran had a remarkable season as a shut down bullpen option ... Miranda was clutch and led team in RBI's ,,,, Ryan led the rotation in wins ... Off the topic alittle bit here... RBI's matter , runs matter , hitting in clutch situations matters , where are our clutch hitters , when was the last time we had a player have a 100 rbis or a 100 runs scored for the season ,,, The spreadsheet isn't exactly working the way they WANT it to work , Need to mix in old school baseball with new school baseball , these players are professionals and should adapt to that plan ... not until we have a 100 rbi player or a player score a 100 runs per season will we contend ,,, We will only compete ... Bring back the fundamentals of the game , stealing bases , occasionally a bunt when need , hit and run , hit behind the runner and move them up a base , hit to opposite field ( spread the ball around ) , take a walk and make the pitcher work ( works for the dreadful yankees ) , be selective and patient and hit your pitch and not a pitchers pitch and cut down on the strikeouts ... we SHOULD see our players cut down on strikeouts every year as they get more experience with bat control ... teach this to the players and tell them that is what you want from them .... That my plan and I'm sticking to it ....

    At least we won the last game of the year and didn't go in as loser ... You and I know who should be taken off the 40 man roster , I'm sure we will see surprises though ... I sure hope the FO took the course of how to build a roster with talent after all the mistakes they have made for the past 2 seasons ... I hope they come up with a better plan ...
