I don't know what to expect the FO to do ... Kepler has a .233 career batting average ( is that acceptable with his defense , and some say his defense is diminishing ) , Kepler had a career year in 2019 with a .252 average . He has never hit before or after 2019 , his previous high average was .243 in 2017 he has not been a consistent hitter or a clutch hitter since 2019 , like his defense all these years ( nothing but raindrops falls ) .. I'm glad Kepler has found some success but Kepler has always been a streaky hitter ,,, Everyone calling for him to be traded or dfa'd this year but now the tune has changed since the allstar break , WAY TO GO MAX , keep riding the high road please ... If the Twins resign Kepler , I hope we don't go back to demanding he gets dfa'd or traded , one year is enough ...

Good game last night .... Good start exploding for runs in first three inning and Lopez pitched well with the pressure off ... Speaking of pressure , since the deadline the pressure seems to be off the players to win the division as Cleveland has almost conceded the division to the Twins as sellers .... Still In the game of baseball you have to hit and score runs to win ... I look at the stats and see things that need to improve after 114 games , no one has over 100 hits but a few have exceeded 100 strikeouts , Correa leads the team with 52 rbi's , Buxton leads the team in runs scored with 49 , Correa leads with 24 doubles , Kepler leads club with 17 homeruns , speed kills and Castro leads team with 28 stolen bases .... The hits , runs have to keep on coming , since the Allstar game they have improved ( except the royals series ) and I hope they can maintain the course and be hungry for the division .... Getting hot at the right time is a plus and I still would like a 10 plus game winning streak ...

5 game winning streaks , only 5 more and I can consider them contenders in the playoffs ... I want a ten game winning streak and have emphasis that for along time now .

Looks like Cleveland for laureano .... missed it by thhhhhhhat much .... I think he would have been a better choice over Luplow , plays defense well with a good arm , injuries and suspension has hurt him for regular playing time ....

What concerns me is that Rocco and medical team had no idea Ryan was playing through a groin strain ... Yes it players responsibility to report even minor bumps and bruises , but management should also be watching players perform ... Maybe it time to start giving penalties to unreported injuries , baserunning blunders , called third strikes , etc. .... We had a good week , better than expected ... What's our record against national league teams ??? -

Yes this is Gallo's last stand for a major league contract .... ( see sano ) Gallo will be lucky to get a minor league offer next off season and maybe just maybe Japan would likely pass on him to , ( see Sano) ... I'm sure Gallo's salary was higher in 2022 with Yankees and dodgers than the 11 million we signed him for ... Twins have always seemed to over pay for reclamation projects with mlb deals , when a minor league contract would have gotten it done ..., Robles also comes to mind and there have been others in recent past with this FO ....- 39 replies

If kuechel shined yesterday is was the only shine we had yesterday , the sunshine was missing .... Kuechel kept us in the game but he worked 5 nervous innings , Arizona hit some balls hard and some balls soft for infield and blooper hits ... It was a team effort and Kuechel has earned another start ....
