  1. Adding only 2 to the 40 man roster doesn't show much of the farm system. Hopefully some of the before mentioned players, don't get lost.
  2. Everyone are tradeable. Don't trust Falvey to get a lot in return as past evaluation of incoming players has been poor. Under performing or in need of surgery or spending time on the IL
  3. They can predict all they want. The Twins always wait to grab what others have passed on.
  4. Why aren't the Twins drafting or finding catching prospects. When we hear of the Twins catcher prospects they are mostly no hit, not good defense or hitter first, not good defense. Another example of player development and scouting lacking in the organization
  5. If the price is right. You also need a good evaluation on what you want in return. Don't want players you are injured or injury prone. The Twins seem to trade starting players for reserves. Castoffs seem to play better when they leave the Twins.
  6. The Pohlad's are not 100% of the problem. Falvey who supposedly runs the show has blood on his hands too The carousel of pitchers coming and going from St. Paul to the Twins was awful. Scouting, player evaluation, player development are all lacking. Yes the Pohlad's pay the bills or might not allocate more money, but discussions made by the front office are not good, plus poor public relations puts us at the place we stand now.
  7. As we wind down the season the Players and FO are tip toeing out the door before the door hits them. It will be an interesting off season and hear the excuses and who knows what to build or improve the Twins in 2025. Rocco has turned most of the players into utilities types and the one's who are not utility players can't play 120 games of a season. Too many days off, too many injuries (They replaced the trainers because games missed previously, how did that work out?) No set lineups, pitchers who can barely pitch an inning, Pinch hitting in the early innings. I wonder if the Twins brass would attend a Twins Daily crowd focus group?
  8. First questions to be asked is how we get people to buy season tickets in 2025? Then willingness to spend money Player development and evaluation, existing players, potential incoming players and players being traded or released Public Relations overhaul A team that pinches penny's with one of the richest ownership, the Twins show minimal effort they want to win
  9. I hope he does well, but being an ROY candidate (or considered) is a reach at this point.
  10. Twins need right handed outfield bats. Too many lefty's: Kepler, Larnach and Wallner. Also have Jenkins and Rodriguez coming in a year or two.
  11. Manoah's older brother Erik was in the Twins farm system in 2021
  12. Where is Jair Camargo on this list?
  13. Urbina, Severino and really other minor leaguers need break out seasons. The Twins traded some of their top prospects in 2022, more need to progress or find others.
  14. I admit, I am surprised. But what else? Are we all in? If we are there has to be more. Are there opt outs?
  15. Barring contract renewals, Baldelli is signed through 2023, Falvey and Levine through 2024.
  16. Eovaldi's worth a try even if for 1 year. What do the Twins want to accomplish, that is a realistic question
  17. Andrew McCutcheon if he has anything left could/should be an option. Better all around player and right handed and cheaper based on 2022 salary
  18. Another lefty hitter? Who comes off the 40 man roster? More must be coming.
  19. Who is the architech and what is the plan? The rumors or speculation are either fantasy and wishful thinking or idiotic.
  20. Short term affect if signed would have been fine. Long term disaster. It would also force the braintrust to keep spending or act like they wanted to play with big boys. Evaluate and develop your players and make Minnesota be a free agent destination. Something lacking already.
  21. Interesting that all who were in consideration for relief pitcher of the year who are eligible for the Rule V Draft were not added to the 40 man roster.
  22. Agree on the obvious. Twins should non tender a few to protect a few more to not lose a Laweryson, Helman or even Kiersey. Some non tenders can be easily replaced with medium or high range free agents. But, they need to sign right away and not wait for the scraps.
  23. Jeffers may be able to frame, but he is a below average catchers and hitter. Catcher has to be a priority and will have to over pay and maybe give up a lot for 2 decent catchers, instead of juggling each year. Unless some of the low level catchers come out of nowhere, the catching depth is bad at major league level and that us on management
