  1. There are others just as worthy, though they may not have options
  2. The brain trust's player development and evaluation has been lacking for a long time. The players need talent as well and it seems that players move up the system only to make room for younger talent. They still lack range defensively, poor baserunning, timely hitting and poor pitching
  3. Offering and accepting are 2 different things. Sample size too small currently
  4. You would prefer to keep your #1's if they are good enough or can get you better players
  5. Trading a former #1 pick (Larnach) is fairly embarrassing, but he has not much value. Get what you can for him. Who's idea was it to stockpile lefthanded hitters, with maybe 2 (3 if Roden is sent down) of the best in St. Paul to start the season. What exactly was the reason for the fire sale at the trade deadline, why and who made the decision.
  6. Whether Liam has anything left or not, this may point to the "culture" that the Twins supposedly thought Correa brought to the team. The Twins need to be seen as a team players want to come to. Getting working on that.
  7. Enjoyed watching the Twins-Braves game and seeing Rojas, ERodriguez and Gonzalez, play well. Hard to digest the Braves announcers talking about nonsense instead of sticking to the game.
  8. Not much other than Jenkins and Winokur
  9. Will it make the players hit better, field better, run the bases better, pitch better, hold runners on base better? Does the pro shop need more merchandise?
  10. Interesting article with a lot of positives. Whether your farm system is ranked 8th or 28th, the Twins have been the past couple of years in the weakest division in MLB. When players come up from these "pipelines" it is generally a deer in the headlights. How does this change for the better and when?
  11. When you have grow your own, this needs to get better. Need to see the improvement before praising it in advance.
  12. Gray is better than Bujan and probably Fitzgerald. Another lefthanded hitter. Looks more like a St. Paul Saints acquisition.
  13. Wasn't there a story recently that the Twins were getting a player linked to the Dodgers but there was an age issue or falsifying his age? Did that ever happened now that the signing period has happened? Don't remember the name or if he included in this years signees? Because of the age issue, they could get him for $500,000
  14. More of a list of Twins catching prospects. Hopefully we are keeping track of the other teams catching pipelines
  15. The farm system needs to produce better and faster to get to the big leagues. Hope they produce before they are free agents. Winning teams also make players want to stay and get away as soon as they can. Joe Ryan, I am sure is waiting to exit.
  16. The Twins FO have always done (non team building) things to improve the experience at Target Field. Wouldn't building a winning team improve the experience at Target Field?
  17. Lip service and PR (which the Twins are poor at). Show us and then we can decide.
  18. The Twins did what? This is a positive. Would have liked him a few years earlier. In 2025 a better hitter lefthanded with 3x more at bats. Good start, but a long way to go.
