Enough of Simmons. Iglesis can't be any worse and cheaper

I think Luis is being wasted as the roving fielder. He needs 500 at bats and consistency. If he can DH and play some 2B and maybe 3B and get him 500 at bats. If not he is being wasted. I don't want to see him blossom elsewhere

I thought we needed pitching, pitching and pitching

The sad part is the Twins are part of the tanking discussion. The need a new stadium excuse to compete is just that, an excuse. The speculation is even underwhelming. Unless unforseen changes are made we are in a downhill spiral for awhile. Even in the weakest division the Twins look like a last place organization. Reading comments here and elsewhere there is not much positivity. Hard for the fans to get behind the FO "plans"

Garlick and Smeltzer are possible removals and possibly Cotton. Waddell and Gibault were wasted roster holders for most of 2021, so I hope they look hard to his spot and not run into another Baddoo, Webb type loses in 2022.

Colome and Robles are accurate. Everyone else get a C

Why does lack of mediocrity include 0-18 in playoff games

    Chalmers was released earlier

I think the Twins should consider Arraez as the DH. He does not bring DH type stats, but this allow him to play everyday where he uses his best asset, hitting. I think with the roaming around the field and inconsistent batting appearances, he suffers a little. He can still player other positions, but DH can be one of those positions. Let hit hit and get on base and let the others display their power. Too many solo HR's out there we need more 2 and 3 run homers.

I gagged reading Walters column. To add, the lineup is better, but poor baserunning, no buntability, hit and run and sloppy defense doesn't help with bad starting pitcher and below average bullpen. Also who are Twins grooming to be a closer on the big league club or anywhere in the system

    Don't see Carlos Aguiar

See the Andrew Vazquez for Steve Berman trade. We kind of figured Andrew would not return to the Teins, but Steve Berman, his 2021 stats are very underwhelming

What is the restricted list players get attached to? See players on it and then removed with no explanation. This year seeing Luis Rijo, Jhonleider Salinas and Lachlan Wells. Rijo and Salinas appear to off that list but not Wells. What is the story. Also will we ever see Landon Leach?
