    Another otherwise good story run amuck by analytic overload.

    The Twins catching duo of Vasquez and Jeffers is mediocre at best. They apparently are part time catchers as they each catch roughly half the season. My guess is Vas will be allowed to become a free agent

    Just another listless performance by Twins. Not surprised. Maybe, just maybe they will win Thursday but I doubt it.

    Oh please quit defending Rocco like he's this perfect manager and never makes a mistake. And when he does you just cover it up like it's no big deal. Since he has been here there is no accountability for the many failures of this team. They play very undisciplined baseball. They are listless an̈d don't play sound fundamental baseball. They are terrible at making in game adjustments as th game is going on. They plan They seem to make before the game is etched in stone and he refuses or is incapable of making in game adjustments. His team is generally very boring to watch. Attendance this year is likely to bottom out at about 1.6 million. Well short of the 2 million they keep hoping for.

    Sloppy baseball again. It's the new norm. Jeffers a key passed ball on a strikeout that led to two runs. Kiersey,? Not much to say there. And Castro completely screwing up and not knowing how many outs on a double play he messed up. Although it didn't cost the team a run it's indicative of the teams play including many tines players not hustling out ground balls to first. It's a direct reflection on manager Baldelli.

    Every year we hear about how great many of our prospects are. Hype, hype, and over hype. Yes a couple have worked out but most of them have been busts. Just like our front office. Very unlikely twins do much at trade deadline to improve the team. It is possible they could dump salary if team is not in contention.

    I totally agree with the article. The Twins have and continue to have one of the lèast fundamentally sound teams in Twins history. Rocco is too hell bent on analytics and inflexible and not capable of sound in game management. The great Baldelli after all has led the Twins to miss tge playoffs 3 of the past 4 years.

    None of us should be surprised by the recent malaise of our Twins. Correa is a bust and whoever in the front office pushed for his signing should be fired. Yes I'm serious. Two big teams didn't sign him because he couldn't pass their physical. A huge red flag! Losing Royce Lewis is not a loss at all. He is injured way too much and has produced not much for the Twins. I've been down on Buxton sin e he began spending more time on the injured list than the field. I am impressed with him this year as he is able for the most part to play. But you just wonder when will the next injury put him out. And what about the great farm system the Twins keep telling us they have? It hasn't been nearly as good as they hype. I hope they get back on track but my level of confidence is not very high.

    Couple of thoughts: Rocco should have let SWR throw at least one or two more innings. He's mowing them down with only 53 pitches kn 5 innings. Especially when he complains about having to use his bullpen too much. Also: Correa IS the most over paid and overrated free agent the Twins have signed. He is a "stiff" and a huge disappointment. No clutch in him at all. What a waste of money and roster spot. And I still say Rocco is one of the worst managers the Twins have ever had. The Twins play very poor fundamental baseball. They are listless make way too many mistakes for a major league team. That is a direct reflection of the manager. I am so sick and tired of our players not hustling out groundballs. If you can't run hard to first base 3 or 4 times a day you shouldn't be playing. That's my rant for the day. But I will be watching them still. After all they are the only major league baseball team we have. But Vikings start practice in just a few weeks.

    Buxton not in starting lineup, Lewis hurt again. Twins will lead the league in the wimpiest injury prone players led by a over indulging boring manager.

    Great game by Ryan. Bottom line is just another listless loss. They have now lost 7 of their past 9. Getting tired of Lewis injuries and how people panic when he goes down. My god except for the past week or so he's been invisible for the past year and a half. I doubt Buxton plays sunday since he must have a bruise and wacko Rocco babies these guys so much. I hope they win Sunday but idk

    Great win Twins. We need to beat the rain and the Rangers on Thursday. I too get tired of all the mindless information being thrown at us. I like Audra on TwinsTv except she never shuts up. She always talks over the play by play often leaving the viewer missing live action. Plus all the games I watch there seems to be a lot of talk and video going on that is totally unrelated to the game at hand. .

    What Pitching depth. Just because you call someone up from the minors to start games doesn't mean they are good. This Pitching depth needs to actually perform and perform well. Haven't seen a whole lot of that with any consistency.

    Yes he's regressing just like many of the Twins current players. Even some with superstar status. He's almost earned the right to stay longer. But I'm sure he won't stay. He's been fun to watch and more productive than some of the players that will be kept

    If the Twins have all these great prospects that apparently are ready to play in the big show why is the major league team struggling to maintain a 500 club? Most prospects are suspects until they prove otherwise. I hope he makes it but.....

    Do you think Baldelli will even use him? It would be great if he at least gets in one game to make his trip to the bird noteworthy. Tough for a rookie to get called up and never get in the game. Baldelli has done that with several call ups in the past. No class!!

    Twins SHOULD win Sunday against a faltering Blue Jay's pitcher. Plus I'm going to the game. Go Twins. They are what we thought they are just an average or below average team

    Home plate umpiring has been atrocious throughout the league. I've watched a lot of mlb games and almost every game the balls and strike calls are awful. Plus the umps are so arrogant. By the way I fir one, am sick and tired of watch Ty France loaf to first bases when hitting a grounded. He does itbevery game and is inexcusable. As a former manager once said " if you can't run hard to first 3-4 times a game, you shouldn't be playing. Ty France is dogging it.

    Twins out played and out managed by Toronto. But at least we have heard their excuses for the previous two losses. They said the last game with the A's was the result of a long and tiring road trip. It was evident in the early stages of that game that Rocco wasn't interested in being competitive. Another Rocco throw away game. Friday they lamented from the long road trip that Rocco said was successful. 5-5 suc essful? Come on. Three of those wins came against AAA calibre A's. Saturday is important game. Twins need to win against a good team.

    I love Matt Wallner. But let's not over do it. Come on he needs to play more, be more consistent to be compared to some of the heavy hitters you mention. It's absolutely ridiculous. He us good using your small sample size. Let's let him develop more and see. I think he is very important to the success of the team this year. Go Twins.

    Tough game, bad look all around. Another of Roccos throw away game where he appears not to care about winning the game. The excuses are coming to Target field if they lose Friday. They will blame the long road trip. Fact us they got smashed by A's. So what. But they make a 5-5 road trip sound like they won a playoff series. I hate when teams use a fielder to pitch. It makes a total farce of the game. Good thing is they used both Alcal and Funderburk extensively so we won't have to stomach them for a couple of days. I believe Alcala has mo options left so if the Twins dfa him he would probably be picked up. Go Twins!!

    Yes it's way too early to get excited. I hope he does well and has a great career. Fact is prospects are a dime a dozen and are suspects until proven otherwise. The Twins hype these up and almost all of them flame out.
