  1. I believe that I called this pick in one of the threads…. I’m very happy the twins finally caught my vibe 😂
  2. Twins have just dealt too many prospects in bad tradea. Miranda will be fine once he figures it out.
  3. If you arent going to take a top 5, then take a solid college pitcher below slot $$ and get Jacob Wilson to slide to 34 and pay him. He never strikes out. Then grab Carigg at 49.
  4. Yuck. There are so many more ways to get talent. This would be a huge mistake. Can they actually mess up this bad? Lol.
  5. What are the odds that Jenkins is a perineal all star vs. any of the other top 13 prospects? With this being a deep draft, it may end up that the whole top 30 are solid MLB’rs. I’d be happy with Jenkins in our farm system! Hopefully for no longer than 3 years when he gets the call to be on the varsity squad. I still think that signing pool $$$ is going to shake up the top 10 somehow.
  6. Absolutely, most of the write ups on Dollander just reiterate how he wasn’t effective in spring ball like he was expected to be…. and then they finish the report with. “ Still has upside potential to be an Ace.” Im sure there is a team just waiting to snipe him….
  7. If I were a GM. I would find 2 or 3 Arraez type knockers to play every day. 7 sluggers and issues at 8/9 in the line up is a terrible daily line up.
  8. Has anyone on the consensus board researched why Dollander had the season he had this year? He has a new pitching coach. He has been trying to develop his 4th pitch as a way to not be just a flamethrower. He is also been trying to overthrow just to hit triple digits. Im hoping Langford, Clarke or Skenes gets to us at 5 but Dollander is a great pick at 5 provided those guys are gone. (Zero chance at Crews and I’m not high on Jenkins.)
  9. Max is a winner! He would be a great pick but I have a bad feeling that he will be gone by 5. He also seems like a kid that could speed thru the system and be in AA or AAA in 2025. Best case scenario, he wins rookie of the year like the kid in Seattle and the twins get an extra comp pick as well. Please, please, please, No more Sabatos or Cavaco’s. Ever.
  10. Is he still 5’ 10” tall or did he grow a bit? Hows his defense? Routes?
  11. I still think Clarke is gone by pick 5 and Teel is borderline top 10-20. I doubt the FO will pick out of the top 5 plus throw in Lowder/Dollander for conversation since they are both top of the rotation guys.
  12. I’d be just fine with Lowder or Dollander at 5. Skenes would be a dream that has almost no chance of happening. How “safe” does the front office want to draft since it’s unlikely to pick this high in the near future. A high school bat is 4-5 years away from impact vs. a college pitcher thats as close as 2 years. My view of drafting talent would first and always be the best talent that is closest to impact a need. If a future superstar is available at #5, you have to take that chance! This draft seems to have at least 30 surefire stars. Some 2 years away, some 5. Every pick has a risk but the 5th overall is only risky if they decide to do something weird.
  13. Even the link to Chris Williams goes to a Detroit Tiger by the same name…..
  14. Is it possible that a team would try to develop Clarke as a two way player?
  15. It will take 4 really dumb decisions to have him available to pick at 5.
  16. We do have Ron Acuna Jr.s little brother! Oh but he is years away. Lol.
  17. Great preview! Every game is winnable. We have a better pitching staff and at some point, we will start scoring a boat load of runs.
  18. If these two guys have to drag Buck , C4 and Polanco to a division championship then they need to get long term contracts. The 3 vets need to significantly up their game to keep up with these young stars! AK and Lewis are definitely our future studs! We also need to change Keplers role to OF util backup and get significant playing time to Wallner and/or Larnach.
  19. Like all twins fans, I’ve waited patiently for Duran to establish himself as the best in the game. Now that he has and has a large body of work to prove it, it is time to recognize that he is in fact, a unicorn. Just imagine if we are lucky enough to watch him for a whole decade of this amazing talent.
  20. Ranking of issues on the 26 man roster that need to be “addressed/changed”…. #26 Baldelli #27 Lewis
  21. There is plenty of room for Wallner, Larnach and Miranda… just get rid of the aging vets that have sucked the life out of this team since 2021….
  22. The fact that he is injured by walking out of the dugout (it will happen) leads me to believe that he will undergo offseason surgery for that collision.
