    Yeah it's a joke. And so is signing Joey Gallo. A 5 WAR player, who hits .199. And strikes out over 200 times a season. This is not going to turn this thing around. Makes it go deeper in a bad direction.

    There is no rebound coming Gallo is awful. They need to spend some money so they can say "they tried". This is how they do it.

    I could really care less what I "look like". Victim blaming? How about people start to take responsibility for their actions. Floyd losing his life was wrong. Chauvin committed an errounious act. But Floyd was drunk, high, passing bad cash and resisting arrest. He obviously hadn't learned. This is the guy who in 2009 held a gun in the abdomen of a preganant woman during a break in. I'm not holding this guy up as a martyr or a hero. If you don't like my opinion delete them then.

    This. I'm not convinced that it was racially motivated at all. Police brutallity, yes for sure. My hunch is Chauvin would have done the same thing to anyone else at this particular moment. Which brings me to another point. Until people of color, whether they are black, brown, yellow, red or white learn not to abuse alcohol, drugs, tobacco, etc and learn not to break laws like pass funny money and create a public disturbance and then resist arrest their lives will continue to go nowhere fast.

    Where is the outrage on this site over a black man killing a white police officer up here in Grand Forks ND a week ago? Where is the outrage over millions of babies being murdered in this country over the past almost 50 years? This should have stayed Twins Daily and kept the topics to baseball. Now you have division where it wasn't before. Good job.

    Kirby Puckett should have been on this team. Yes Buton is fast. What's that gotten him? A few crashes into the OF walls, and injured. Puckett was very fast, and played under control.

    I'm not in the corner that says Johan should for sure be in the HOF. But yes he should have been on the ballot of the next 8-10 years. But then again Harold Baines is in the HOF because he was good and played a long time. I've pretty much lost all interest in the HOF as its been watered down to it being the Hall of good.

    Last night on yutube I watched the Twins and Seattle from a game in 1978. Gary Serum, who I honestly don't remember pitched a very good game for the Twins at the old Met.

    Made mistakes? He cheated along with many other Astros and in so doing took the integrity of the game down the crapper. They knew what they were doing. I for one will be happy to see him move along after this season if not sooner.

    To be honest I'd love to see the Twins trade Marwin, back to Houston. AS you state he's not needed. And really not so sure hes wanted.

    Also Denard had 3 years remaining on a longterm contract he had signed. His deal was a very team friendly one too.

    Lets not forget on this date in baseball history, February 17 2018 the Twins traded for Jake Odorizzi and his 6.3mil salary for 2018. I don't expect a repeat this ST again, unless an injury were to occur.
