  1. Somewhere in that article they mentioned having their best players hitting. Why bench Lewis?
  2. He did hit into 2 double plays in critical scoring innings. That was horrible.
  3. For his own good they should medically retire him for his long term healt.
  4. Anyone know what the average strikeouts per game and how that compares to the Twins.
  5. After watching Buxton's back spasm at bat I really don't see him getting better. He has knee, hip and back issues. Back issues are tough and many would be forced to medically retire or live the rest of their lives in severe pain. He most likely has enough money to last a lifetime, Not sure more would be worth it later in life he can barely get out of bed.
  6. Yikes do we hope for the best and accept the worst or expect the worse and hope for the best. Is there a difference?
  7. Starting to look like Buxton should learn to bunt. Assuming he hurt whatever he hurt yesterday on the swing. Didn’t seem like he should have over exerted while trotting to first. Ongoing Back injuries can be career ending for gymnasts. Doctors will encourage retirement if they don’t want to have pain for the rest of their lives.
  8. My granddaughter was doing a difficult release on uneven bars in gymnastics. Sadly it was the 2nd meet of the season (January) and she injured her muscle near the elbow. Took almost 3 months before she could straighten her arm without pain. She is just now back to full strength. One year of 20+ hours of practice each week. I felt so bad for her. The 2nd video is not her Couldn’t figure out how to delete cm-chat-media-video-1:abf25172-5775-5ba3-8a6e-f32ecccce898:2698:0:0.mov 8DD0359E-6789-4602-B0B8-8C0FD3CA7562.mov
  9. the best way to learn would be up here in the majors
  10. Why do we always have to do this?
  11. I would add Berrios. But we all know he did not want to be here with this dumpster diving/hope and pray team in the prime of his career.
  12. It looks much worse the way the Twins are hitting and obvious that his bat is SORELY missed. It also seems like all the trades done in the last few years have not been in the Twins favor. What makes me mad it they can't or won't go sign and pay a top level pitcher.
  13. Sorry meant batting champ but thanks for straightening me out.
  14. See tons of comments on FB praising the Twins for being in first place, We all know where they would be in any other division. A year ago the Marlins ended with a .427 and the Twins a .481 and 3rd place in the pathetic ALC. This year the Twins are .493 and barely hanging onto 1st place the Marlins are .560 and holding onto a Wild Card (they are behind Atlanta with a .644)
  15. Sorry but 20/20 is perfect vision. In this case I would say they are blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. Instead of trading away an MVP they should have loosened the purse strings and paid for a #3-4 started, but I am afraid no decent pitcher would want to come here while in the prime of his career. Think that is why we get older and almost broken pitchers. They need to focus on the minors and get those guys GOOD and ready. SWR is a perfect example. IMO they never let them stay for maybe a game or two before they are sent back down. How to you learn to pitch in the MLB unless you get a good chance.
  16. I was NEVER for it. Besides being an exceptional hitter this year and last, he has personality that is sorely missing from this group of misfits.
  17. Yeah, pretty sure he is thrilled to be out of this organization.
  18. I totally get they need a #1 starter pitching but in this case they should have "bought" one instead of trading Arraez.
  19. I luckily have had a fun to follow team with the Blue Jays. Now I can add the Marlins (today was tough Jays v Marlins). Last year at this time the Marlins record was .426 and this year is .560 and if they playoffs started today they would be in. What a turn around!
  20. I wasn't thinking about pitching as much as hitting. But eventually we need to get players up and a few starts or innings to see what they have. IMO going forward this is more of an audition year now.
  21. LOL...how do you turn something around that has be backwards since they were hired. Either Rocco doesn't know how he could turn this around or is not allowed to try anything new, IMO it is time to sit or get rid of most of the team and let the AAA team have their chance and learn how to play at the MLB level. I actually think the AAA team would take 3 of 4 from the MLB team.
  22. That will be way less expensive and a great way to father son/daughter time that used to be taking my boy to a game. I can't even imagine paying a couple hundred dollars to sit in that heat and not even seeing a hit.
