    How many playoff games have they won since the FO got here? Although some of the currents players were not picked by this FO the one thing they have missed the boat on big time is improving them or letting them go. Also this is going on 20 or 33 years depending your version of success.

    The last 3 games were indescribable and I can’t see any positives at all. Which of the everyday Twins would make a lineup with a contender?

    There should have been 25-30 difficult conversations this season. Maybe there were and we don’t know. Just remember the player only meeting and that lasted less than a week

    Why can’t we have both a bat and BP help? Figure out who could be traded or can they do cash considerations All though after the last 2 games I don’t think either would get them too far or even into the playoffs this season. So maybe stand Pat, see what we have and SPEND like crazy in the offseason. But seems they need a FO that can recognize talent and a medical staff to make sure we don’t waste money on soon to be injured players.

    Seems likely Lewis is another Buxton and what have they learned from this debacle. Trying to keep Buxton healthy even though is has been extremely detrimental to the team. Play Lewis where he can help the team and see if he can stay healthy for the rest of season. If not all I can say is here we go again. I would put him out there to see what kind of interest. I think most decent teams wouldn’t offer anything of proven value for him.

    Besides releasing Gallo, I would stick with what we have. If I were the Pohlad’s I’d be wondering if Falvey or Levine really know talent when they see it. First, they have traded away many respectable to above average players for absolutely nothing. I wonder if they could tell if they traded a bag of baseballs in good condition for a bag of used softballs. Trading Berrios for SWR and Martin??? They should have gotten so much more for him! I looked at this list of trades and there is not a single one where we were the big winner. In fact I barely recognize any of the names to have even been on the Twins roster.     First off I wouldn’t trust this FO’s ability to recognize talent. They have traded away many, many good players for nothing. I think Wallner and Larnach should stay for the rest of the season. Way too early to toss them aside. Polanco coming back may improve this team but not enough to make me believe they will win the ALC. After the easy July schedule they should be way over .500. We don’t have a date for Lewis’ return but I am starting to think he is as injury prone as Buxton and wouldn’t bank on his return. Of course we should still hopeful for the rest of the season with what we have. These next 3 games will be a good way to forecast the rest of the season. If they can’t sweep the Royals I think they will be in a world of hurt. Cleveland is the same boat, they also need to sweep this weekend. If one team does and the other doesn’t we should be able to tell more. Basically saying no single addition is going to move the needle unless they get rid of or sit some of the guy’s barely batting over .200.

    I like Larnach and would not miss Gallo or Kepler. Larnach has a much better chance of improving. I don't think they would get much of anything from either Gallo or Kepler though. Our playoff chances are slim unless they can take care of the remaining ALC teams in August/September so why not give them their auditions for the remaining 2 months as they need consistent time here to really determine anything. Last year was devastating being in 1st place and ending up 14 games out in about a month's time I also don't think they give our "future" players enough time in the MLB to make any long term determinations. Both Larnach and Wallner need to stay. It has to be hard on the confidence to know you are one strikeout away from going back. Seems to me we send our potential good to great players to other teams and watch them blossom with another team while we try to figure out the next bunch. I bet Larnach's career would better off being traded. Rosario, Hicks, Berrios and many others have went on to competitive teams and done well. So if he does get traded I would be happy for him.

    Who knows how this will work but I am glad only one Lopez left.

    It is like a de’javeau of last season only they were up about 14 games up at this time last year. I think we are hope for the best but prepare for the worst fans. Let down far too many times

    This series IMO was a must win. If they don’t sweep KC I think the season is over.

    I don't have any confidence about him staying healthy. The next Buxton IMO.

    Great month but most games were against the worst teams. Lost too many against the Orioles to make me think they can win the ALC. The remaining games against Cleveland are huge. The rest of the schedule they could play .500 or better but it is going to be close if they lose the Cleveland series’s. Finally the number of strikeouts is beyond ridiculous and going to be a factor.

    Answer from Falvey is irritating. He has us Twins Fans speculating again. Would be nice to have a few names. I could have given that "stock" answer.

    It pretty much helped with the win. But I didn’t think he was getting back up. The slide didn’t look bad or dangerous and that was depressing in so many ways. What is use of him getting on base if can’t make it home.

    I think it is super glued shut with this FO including the Pohlad’s. IMO on the whole roster there are maybe 5-6 players of MLB talent and most on the pitching staff. Correa seems to be improving however his salary will hurt the ability to sign any above average players. To me it seems the same old story of signing a big name 35 or older hoping for a magic bean. I was just thinking how sad it is when most focus is placed on getting to know minor league signings and knowing the Twins track record on developing players. By the time they get to the majors or close to they are already injury prone. We had one season (2019) where it felt like the window was opening but pretty much slammed shut again after 2020.

    Pablo is similar to Arraez, was it worth it for 13-14 games. Also not quite sure yet if he is that good or at least not as good as Arraez would have been for this team. No doubt Berrios wanted out. If I were a good player I wouldn’t want to spend the prime of my career here. What makes it bad are the players we got back. Doesn’t instill much confidence in the FO’s ability to spot talent. I think they rushed it a bit!

    The worst for me was Berrios trade, second Arraez, 3rd was Hicks.

    Never going to happen with a manager that doesn't have any instinct, it i all about what his tablet is telling him which is needed but with a combination of rolling with what was working the last 2 games. It wasn't even a home game where I can kind of see Buxton in the lineup just for the fans. VERY PERPLEXING!
