  1. Not disagreeing but it is deeper than a change in the hitting coach.
  2. Something is seriously wrong with Buxton and I think it is in his head. He can’t be this bad!
  3. If Buxton gets a hit or RBI it could help his confidence
  4. Look what happens when you put in your best player and bench the worst.
  5. Wasn’t Molitor on his last year? Not that it matter and not sure how long or how much they would be out for Rocco. Not saying Molitor was good but I would bet that Falvey and Levine had that was a stipulation in their agreement. It really doesn’t matter but we are all extremely frustrated!
  6. Plus the Pohlad’s would need to pay him. They don’t have a good track record of doing what is best for the team (probably the reasons they can’t get quality players) or the fans!
  7. There is no explanation for his decisions at all. Kepler in and Lewis out? Basically a player does not need to earn or get to stay in the lineup when they play well. Imagine in the real world promoting the weakest person on the team.
  8. I am 1/4 Native American and don’t see how that name was degrading or whatever the PC name for it is.
  9. They should consider the same for Buxton
  10. I disagree. If they lose this series against a .420 team he should be. The losses have kind of been blowouts. Pitching and hitting not good. This team needs different leadership.
  11. Don’t disagree but in my defense the Twins front office hasn’t been very open. Not that they are obligated to let’s us know what the heck is going on or what they plan on doing.
  12. Struggling is putting it nicely. He is horrible and they need to at least try letting him be Buxton. He hasn’t stayed off the IL so that experiment needs to end. I hope he is seeing a sports therapist and put on the IL until he gets mentally healthy.
  13. I feel bad for Buxton. The team IMO has tried to prevent him from injuries more than any other team would. Just DHing has not done the trick at all. So hard to watch this season. I wonder if they have tried a sports psychologist? He can’t hit, when he does he isn’t allowed to use his speed and can’t slide. I think for his own good he should be allowed to play CF and run and steal. I am getting an eerie feeling he is pretty much done. This is actually way worse than what we experienced with Mauer,.
  14. Line-up for now. I am not sure what else you could mean. Overall managing would that be putting Buxton in CF or calling up Wallner and DFA Kepler? I would never change a line-up that is hot. Playing Buxton right now does not make the line-up better.
  15. It would make perfect sense IF Baldelli new how to manage a game
  16. Throw away your stupid tablet and manage the games. I would have left the roster the way it was on the mini hot streak even if that meant leaving Buxton on the bench.
  17. Jose Berrios! I could be wrong but I don't think he has spent a day on the IL. He works hard in the off-season to stay in shape and it shows. Maybe he should hold off-season camps. There are most likely many Twins who could take advantage of it.
  18. There are a few posters that live to nitpick and throw out all kinds of stats. I posted about my all-time favorite pitcher who said he had a bad year last year and a bunch of stats from then and could or would not look at this year. For some that is what they like to post. When you post you have to take that flack.
  19. Not analyzing stats Rosario, Arraez and Escobar make watching baseball fun and that has been rare for us the last few years. I loved the play-off series he was in. It was so exciting to have a team to root for. If I remember right they let him go and we got nothing.
  20. More than stats I love how he approaches the game and watching him pitch was fun. He had a bad year (he was not happy and did not make excuses) and so far it looks like he spent the off season working on his game. His work ethic and keeping in tip-top shape is impressive and can't remember him spending time on the IL. He typically gives his team 7 innings a value not noticed. I also know he did not want to be here, he wants to spend the prime of his career with the Twins. So far we got 2 players back that have not helped the team and not sure they will. He will always be one of my favorite Twins pitchers after reading this in MLB I am really proud to be a fan! José Berríos carries no-hitter into 7th in Blue Jays' win (mlb.com)
  21. As a fan, I would hate to see him go but they need to start doing what is good for the team and not turn into another Kepler frustration. IMO they seem to have a hard time parting with struggling players but many fan favorites have been traded and went on to do well. The Eddy's were let go, Berrios of course our love for Arraez and seeing him turn into a top player.
  22. What is worse? Admitting Buxton won't likely play CF again or leave us wondering in frustration. Either way the fan base is not happy with the FO or Buxton right now. Even if they don't know for sure at least let us know why. The Twins are not particularly up front about things and I get it but I would much rather know that the chance of him ever playing CF again is less that XX%. Also I kind of agree that some of these topics are getting old, but what would there be to discuss or at the very least have a place to vent our frustrations. Happy that Correa seems to be having a little bounce back for sure.
  23. They are almost a NO GO at winning a Wild Card spot.
