It's impossible, of course, to know what a young pitcher will become, but it's abundantly clear that Prielipp's ceiling is very high. With continued health and more experience, he might be pretty special.

Performances from Walker Jenkins and Connor Prielipp make the final score irrelevant.  It's progress and encouraging signs of what they may have in the future.

Although Prielipp hasn't fulfilled his full potential. the Twins' strategy to limit his innings has been a success. As a draftee, many teams passed on him & a few more would have but the Twins took a chance on his arm history. I don't think anyone would have guess that he'd pitched as many quality innings that he's pitched, especially this season. To start the season, there has been many healthy pitchers that haven't done what he has. This proves my premise that if you better manage the pitcher's workload (with arm problems or not), you'll end up with more (quality) innings at the end of the season.

I think the problem is more likely due to what is resting on his shoulders....

Assuming everyone stays, you gotta love the potential for next years staff.

Pablo, Ryan, Taj, Abel, Prielipp with Zebby, Festa, Rojas knocking on the door or in the bullpen.  That's a top 5 staff in the AL.  

Deepest staff in recent memory. 

I think Ober's tenure with the Twins is done.

Keep him, injuries happen plus I think it would be cool to pitch him right after one of our flame throwers and really mess up the other team's timing.

Kaelin Culpepper will be a starter for many years.

Walker Jenkins looks like a young man that is just realizing that he is Captain America.

Emmanual Rodriguez has been solid at the plate and in the field. Strong arm. 

2027 Twins will be strong up the middle.

Was there an announcement  about Connor.  They have 8 games left, why would he not get one more start, he has 5 more innings left in him.
