Show the reports that say Tom took over in November.  Falvey did a poor job of building this team because he knew he could keep contending with a middle of the road team in the Central.  You can keep defending him all you want, but he has put this team in a hole and his protege is digging it deeper.

They met in November,  it wasn't official until it was approved by all teams at the winter meetings.

The Pohlads - Tom did not update Shelton, Falvey or Zoll until right before the winter meetings. Hence why Tom and the minority owners were announced shortly after and we saw or heard zero from Joe in late November early December because he was already sacked.

Its not wrong - its just Tom has the short term goals of selling more tickets and trying to increase the sale price of the Twins in the very near future.  He doesn't care about prospects that will be on the team in 5-8 years or trading current good players for prospects or players in 5 years.  He will be gone long by then.  The only way this still works is by luck and threading a much smaller needle.

Luck has left the building

So Larnach was tendered by Falvey and we don't when the conversations started for Bell but typically they are not done in a day.  So my guess is that was Falvey because that was his m.o. throughout his tenure.

He was told his budget and whether they could sign or needed to trade away salary (IE Ryan)   days before the winter meeting where Tom and the minority owners were approved officially.   What are you not understanding?   Yes Larnach was tendered before that, so what.

Major changes are going to happen!!!

Latroy Hawkins not a bad coach. Start year with Orze, Acton, Lawyerson, Topa, not one of these guys was any good,  all these dudes that should never been on Big league roster. Zoll should take that blame not Hawkuns or Shelton. I see improvement 8n Funderburk and Morris, you don't see young guys turning corner without decent coaching.

I am sure @HarmonK03 is thrilled both his ragdolls Clemens and Bell hit homers.

You take everything I say out of context.  What have they done to elevate this team to be a winning team as middle of the order bats.  We are 7 games under .500 and who knows after this game.  I have higher expectations than you do and want to see the talent level raised on this team.

Of course you were the one that insisted that Jackson would be claimed 100% guaranteed if the Twins released him, that one didn't work out so well.

A rebuilding team would not have tendered him, so keep going with your fantasy that Falvey was going with a rebuild.

Larnach was Falveys  love child , drafting him 18th , few other Teams thought he was a 2nd rounder at best, that 2018 oregon team got alot of headlines- Larnach as a outfielder was way over rated ,  and Falvey  fell hook line -Larnach

They could have traded him after tendering Harmon.   I have no idea what they were thinking or what their specific instructions were.  Larnach all in all had a decent season until recently.   Its the same hope you have for Lewis.   Its just you have your favorites and those that are not.  Its why Clemens who could be a decent piece for the next 3-4 year and may be one of the few players on the Twins in the last decade to achieve a WAR of 3 is someone you don't think is elevating the team.   Its not taking things out of context.   Its showing you the facts.  Just like you saying that 6 rookies had been called up for Detroit in August when there had only been 2.

Let’s hope larnach isn’t with twins next year-zebby isn’t ready to be on twins-as for Buxton hip is worse then what they are saying- we need twins at full health next year to contend and win division!!!

This is wrong. For example, FanGraphs had Larnach rated 12th among prospects for the 2018 draft.

The Twins drafted him 20th. 14 of the players drafted before him have less bWAR.

He was regularly in the Top 100 prospects by many raters.
