Tonight is better with not all four of them in the booth.  There is still banter between all of them.  Things like Plouffe out there getting a crowd around him on the LF line by giving $20's or Span jumping to try to catch the balls coming near him is a different and funny experience we don't get to see every day.

EDIT:  I don't want to see this the rest of season, but it is nice for a change of pace.
