Look at his injury history,   that and the fact that Pitchers today are treated like  ???   ask Bert for that answer !     to me this is a lost year  so  , maybe what there doing will work out  ,   gonna be limited for sure !!

I would guess after the deadline since Ober will hopefully be back and we can see where Abel will be.  Paredes has been serviceable in the absence of everyone.  Unfortunately for Paredes, the bullpen demands that he probably goes farther in the game than he should.

I think it's in reference to the fact that he's had like 9 days of rest between his most recent start and today, it's led to him having good results today, but I don't feel like that's a sustainable schedule for a starting pitcher

He definitely has made some questionable moves.  We may have been under the illusion that finally ridding ourselves of most of the dumpster fire heaps would bolster our bullpen.  Results may vary with the new guys.  Shelton may not have the confidence in these guys, but he knows he can't burn out the better parts of the bullpen so you have to roll with them.  That's what Rocco did.  My questionable moves have been warming up Gomez each of the last two days and then not putting him in the game.

He's been warmed improperly and is now unsafe for use.

Remember that time (today) when a team got a guy on first, bunted him over to 2nd, then a simple base hit scored him? Good fundamental baseball. Then remember that time a team led off with a double, and the next guy grounded out to the wrong side of the infield, and that guy on 2nd never scored that inning? Stuff that drives me nuts.
