Perkins might have read the article because he stated that Morris has the best stuff in the bullpen but he needs better command of his breaking stuff. He also made a specific note that the defensive replacements were important because Morris has been hurt by poor defense. FWIW, Shelton just mentioned that Morris has been hurt by weak contact and missed plays this year.

I don't believe for one second that anyone connected with the Twins reads this stuff. They are tuned in and busy working.

I understand.  It was a bit tongue in cheek as it seemed like everything mentioned in the article came true for Morris tonight.  I hope he can continue it through his next outings.

You're welcome eveybody- and I promise to stay away from games for a while. When I pay attention, the roof falls in. When I get hacked off enough to say screw it and take the doggy outside, it happens. 😂

Me too. I did the same thing.

Twins play hard. Nice win tonight.

Morris made it look easy. He threw a nice cutter and good changeup. Command of those pitches will make his FB play up. Perkins stated that Morris has the best stuff in the bullpen but he needs refinement.

Morris has the stuff to be a top end reliever if he can command the cutter and change up, This makes his 4 seamer look really fast. He is a talented dude.

when he keeps his weight on back leg ,    great to see

Three possible reasons for Lewis' resurgence (so far): 1) The staff in St. Paul made some adjustments on his stance and/or swing. 2) His new eye-black pattern is more effective. 3). Having served some time in St. Paul scared him straight, and for now his head is screwed-on properly.

I pick #3! As Yogi may have said long ago: "Baseball is ninety percent mental, and the other half is physical"

The Royals are down 9-0 before they even bat. Yordan hit a 2 run HR first time up and then a grand slam second time up.

That game was nuts. 9-5 after the 1st and KC cut it to one before falling.
