Lewis is getting to the point of being unplayable, but two weeks of Arcia or Gray over there and we are going to be complaining as well. Arcia or Culpepper at s.s. Lee at 3rd base - best defensive option Church of Kreidler, S Bart, hitterscount and 3 others 6

However, at least Gray and Kreidler offer a glimmer of hope, which is more than we can honestly say about Lewis at this point in time. Their career numbers are where Lewis is at right now. They will have a good game here and there which is more than Lewis is giving us right now.

Guessing they want to maintain team control knowing this team isn't a serious threat to do anything. jaimedude 1

There is a pretty low bar to clear to be better than Lewis' s production right now. But I would keep the expectations pretty low for any impact he might provide. Danchat 1

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 This game now declared an impending disaster. Topsfield.

He is not going to provide a boost for any amount of time that was the point. I am not arguing about moving Lewis but understand the options are not good. That is why I think Culpepper is the best option because of his upside.
