tony&rodney Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Dasan Hill threw 72 pitches over 5 innings, no runs with 2 hits and 7 strike outs. Hill was mostly working on his breaking ball stuff. He hit 98 on his fastball a couple of times. Twins could use some bats. Patzky, jaimedude and Blyleven2011 3

The real holes are with position player defense (although better than a month ago) and weak offense.

Molly said that it would be a tough play for the runner as you don't know if the ball is going to fall or not. Molitor may not be as critical about plays as Trevor Plouffe when he is on color, but he will point out things that he sees. The very next inning he said that Larnach should have called off Lee on the fly ball since Larnach's momentum would have carried him in with Chourio on 3rd. Church of Kreidler 1

Molitor stays positive but focused on the game; he sees everything and points out small details when it makes sense. There is almost no nonsense talk with with Molly. Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Heard a story from Gladden on the radio earlier this week about, when the entire team was in a slump, they gathered all the bats together in the dugout, threw them in the dumpster, and lit them on fire. Not sure it worked, but I would say it's worth a try right about now. Church of Kreidler and Blyleven2011 1 1
