I can only imagine Keon Coleman waking up today early in the offseason. Looking at his phone and finding out the owner of the team he’s on and the GM throwing him under the bus like that. It’s gonna be real awkward when he passes one of them in the hallway.

I wonder if he (or his agent) push for a trade.

I can't believe there are still six head coaching vacancies. Makes me think most of the teams must be hoping to land either Chris Shula or Klint Kubiak who are still in the playoffs? Maybe Vance Joseph, he's had rumors as well.

And train wreck franchises Arizona, Las Vegas and Cleveland have to know that they won't get anybody that Pittsburgh, Baltimore and even the clearly dysfunctional Bills (who still have Josh Allen) want right?

I was thinking that too, yesterday. There should be more hires. Maybe McDermott goes straight to another HC job. I thought McDaniel would get an opportunity somewhere. I also haven't heard much about Daboll, who isn't a great coach but he's youngish and better than a lot of other names. Maybe everyone thinks Shula will be their coach?

Maybe someone backs up the truck and tries to lure the Indiana coach to the NFL?

I imagine the McDermott news threw everyone off a bit coupled with at least two of the coordinators still in the mix having a shot at a job.

I haven't heard much about the Raiders or Arizona, but Cleveland has had more coaches turn down interview requests than actual interviews. Evidently no one is that desperate to take on a 2 year complete rebuild with an incompetent ownership group.

And they’re still stuck with Deshaun Watson. Wouldn’t be surprised if they force the new coach to start him in order to get there moneys worth.

I agree with McDaniel being a good OC, he seems like another guy who is a great coordinator but doesn't quite cut it as a HC. Also, I like the Minter hire for Baltimore, he did really well as the Chargers DC. Their defense needs fixing and he is qualified for that, their OC hire will be a critical decision.

Pittsburgh hires 62 year old Mike McCarthy. Bizarre decision

That guy keeps getting hired.

I’ve got little to no interest in the AFC Championship game. I’ll be tuning in for Darnold vs Stafford later today

I'm generally very pro-going for it on 4th down over taking the points ... but even I think it was insane for the Broncos to not take the field goal there given the way things are playing out

How was that not a scoop and score for New England?

How was it changed from int grounding to backward pass?  Refs got together and ruled grounding.  There was no replay or challenge then suddenly it's backward pass.

Bounty boy losing....excellent.  NE winning....not excellent.

The only positive here is New England will be slightly more competitive for the Super Bowl. Denver had no shot after Bo Nix went down
