My take on the pitchers is one of empathy. Pitching in front of a very poor defense is extremely challenging. It just isn't possible to have every batter strike out or hit pop ups. Players need to make plays and they generally do not, which makes the pitcher look poor. In turn, the pitchers are then stressed to make perfect pitches.

I can make some judgments on the pitchers when the Twins play some major league defenders.

All true. The defenders should defend. Having to wait eight or nine pitches for each battery may wear on them too.

Sitting here in person watching the Angels knowing that they can steal bases on him and then he drops the poo up...uufffdah

Sitting there in person , was that ball hit to Outman in centerfield catchable  , buxton yes , but should Outman had run a better pattern,  looked to me he didn't read it right ...

4 innings , 12 outs , 8 by strike outs , bad for us ...

If the batters would only learn to hit to all fields , they would see better pitches to hit  ...

Lots to improve on in the coaching of some of these players ...

And who in their right mind wouldn't want to pull away from that vikings game?  The Bears are all over 'em, and they look as hapless as the Twins.

Um … this didn’t age well … but still too much time left to call it

Supposedly. He played center almost exclusively for the Dodgers.

I guess I'm just spoiled having a healthy buxton this year , when hecplays centerfield  , nothing but rain drops ...

Watching Lewis hit 2 home runs in his home county with his family cheering behind the dugout was worth the trip to the stadium tonight. Then I pick up a helmet sundae and start a conversation with a lady in a Lewis jersey. It turned out to be Royce's grandmother. She starts to tell me about all of the hard work he put into the sport when he was a kid. It was pretty cool. Also...the 1st base umpire is a female. I am unsure if that is the woman that was in the news. She may be behind the plate this week.
