I'm not necessarily a fan of Clemens. But a LH bench bat who can play decently at a few spots and POTENTIALLY have a league average. 700 OPS actually has value.

Unfortunately, Schobel was having the kind of breakout season hoped for before injury. K-Pepper is probably a couple of months from debuting. Fitzgerald is a career AAAA player, but one who MIGHT serve a role to begin 2026. While I'm an Eeles fan and believer, he's still got to prove himself. 

Basically, the Twins need to improve 1B. Period! Hopefully they will. (I've written about this at length). But most of the other 1B and INF prospects are a year away besides Culpepper and maybe Eeles. And even IF the Twins fulfilled my dream scenario and signed Josh Naylor for 1B, there still remains a hole for a solid bench player.

Might they find/sign someone better than Clemens on the cheap? Absolutely. But if he could maintain a .700 OPS with power off the bench and be OK at a few spots? I think he's at least bringing back to see.

He's not close to that for his career, and not even this year with his insane start. Just. Say. No.

Lots to like about Rojas, however, six walks in three innings isn't one of them.  See that DeBarge extended his organizational stolen base record to 66 last night.  Also noted he was in center field.  For those of you who have seen him play, is his speed that special?

See that several of you are wondering where EmRod goes this coming week.  I have a similar question, will Jiminez move up to Cedar Rapids for the playoffs?  Would be fun seeing he and Tait in the same lineup.

Emmanuel Rodriguez has joined the Saints. 

Jimenez hasn't been added to the Kernels roster. Caden Kendle is off the IL with Julio Bonilla going on the development list. 

There is a ton to like about Rojas... As long as he doesn't end up with the yips, he'll be fine. He's so young. 

DeBarge is a good athlete. I don't think it's a top five speed guy in the organization, but he's a ballplayer. Good instincts. He's gotta be wearing down. He's been caught often of late and isn't going as much. 

Calling up Jenkins at the end of this season makes absolutely no sense. Especially from the 40-man roster angle. Why use up a 40-man roster spot that you don't have to just to get a 4-5 game glimpse of Jenkins now. In my opinion, they have a pretty strong idea of if Jenkins will make the Opening Day roster or not.  Of course, I don't think moving him up to St. Paul was needed for that to be true. It might be just a nice thing to get him a week of games in St. Paul since he probably won't do any next year.

You think they won't play service time games with Jenkins next year?

Is there any reason why Wallner could not play 1B?  Certainly has the size.  Me, I like a big target at 1B.  Once a week or so a high or wide throw gets covered by that kind of size (vs. someone like Arraez).

I know he has a cannon for an arm, but his fielding instincts in RF have not developed well so far....

Obviously he could also DH.

No reason to bring up a prospect at this time. As far as losing players, I'm hoping for major changes in the winter. We can afford to wait though. It isn't a matter of losing players, it is more about how players are treated.

It's true that none of those 13 achieved what Rojas did: limit the damage to only 1 run scored.  Joe Decker and Roger Erickson managed to escape with just 2.

I thought it was interesting, anyway.  If Stathead (b-r.com) made it as easy to look up minor league results as for the majors, I'm sure there would be plenty of such outings to be sifted through.
