Joe Ryan a mores established pitcher than Zebby Matthews.

Ryan for 6-   then its louie- Jax-Duran ,  Rocco made sure to rest all them when we still had a chance yesterday , but instead the M-r-n used Topa , and we seen how that worked out

"IF" Wallner gets going. Lewis and Wallner have been horrible...if you define Clemens as a bench player which he may be...well...wallner certainly has not proved anything and Lewis despite the hype..has simply not yet shown that he is a mainstay

You want to put your faith in a player with an OPS+ of 85 vs one with 128 in roughly the same number career of AB's, you can.  Wallner and Lewis are the players with the talent to be regulars on a winning team. Clemens is riding a hot streak right now, but he was just as awful in June as he has been good in July.  He is a role player and the fact that we have to rely on him to hit fourth in the lineup shows how poorly this organization is run.

I am curious about something.  That last player looked like he had tobacco in his cheek. Can players still use it?

Read my note. . I said if he is a bench player...despite the HR'S today....Lewis and Wallner (especially Wallner)have not shown to be proven. You have your right to to your opinion as do I. My perspective on Clemens differs.

How does anyone feel about Keaschall leading off when he returns? Keaschall Castro Buxton Jeffers seems an ok top of the order.

I know, not a Topa fan. That guy is used to often and should be pure blowout guy now.

Good analysis there from Plouffe on Lewis, regarding what’s different in his swing. Interesting to see Royce echo basically the same thing I said in my post from yesterday in that Dan Hayes quote. Anytime you go 2-3 games without hitting at least two balls hard in each game, you and the video staff should be reviewing video about what you look like now versus what you looked when going good. Maybe nothing is different, or maybe something is. Would take 15 minutes, and maybe prevent a much worse slump.

I would keep Buck at 1 and bat Keaschall 2. That was where he was batting when he got hurt.

showcasing’ you mean it lets other clubs know he doesn’t have advanced polio nor has he lost a limb in a in a combine accident.

Whatever word you want to use for a desperate team trying to fleece another desperate team...im open to suggestions.

I like that. It’s a little harder to throw out basestealers at 2b with a LH hitter. Maybe you even can get Keaschall to 3B by the time Buxton comes up where a fly ball scores him.

Believe he is slated to throw batting practice that day…or maybe start…same thing.
