Reason #3158 that Rocco should be fired instead of signed for another year.  I agree with the defenders that another manager likely isn't going to turn this team around this year, but I would still like someone with a little more energy than King Tut in his sarcophagus.

This is an honest question for all the TD members. If the twins do fire Rocco, who would take his place? I'm not saying they should or shouldn't; I'm just curious about who it would be. Interim coach first, and then a full-time coach named later?

I'd imagine Tingler would finish out the season.

The current Twins FO is loath to make any kind of bold move. No way they hire anyone before the offseason.

Rocco isn’t going anywhere-if he goes so does falvey. They’re a package deal. Just need to get healthy. Twins aren’t as bad as all of you make them out to be.

I would think the interim manager would be Jayce Tingler for the remainder of the season.  I would love to see Toby Gardenhire maybe get a chance and bring his father as an advisor/bench coach, similar to what Derek Shelton did for Rocco in 2019.
