Fair, but Tellez is hitting .203 this year. I thought it would be an auto walk once Jeffers air mailed it. Oh well

Jax was down in the count 2-0 after the steal and error. The only possible logical explanation I can think of for not walking him to get the fresh count and set up the double play or even walk the bases loaded to set up double play and/or force out at home is Roco was straight up just not paying attention

Perhaps the Twins were going for the strikeout with Griffin Jax, sporting a 38.2 percent strikeout rate, against Randy Arozarena, who had been striking out at a 36.5 percent clip over his previous 17 games.

Irrelevant trivia: Arozarena and Rowdy Tellez have each homered in five career plate appearances against Jax.

This was the week of annoying losses and one epic comeback win. Twins really need a get right series against Oakland.

Oh, and man, I wish the Pohlads weren't so disinterested because this pitching staff is good enough to get the Twins deep into the post season. The lineup just isn't good enough. Moves are there to be made at the deadline but unfortunately we've seen that movie before.
