The Twins' line-up didn't necessarily figure anything out during the winning streak. They got hot and stayed that way for a while. But going back to the second game of the DH against Cleveland, the bats have been scuffling and I just think that's who this group is. Starting pitching will have to be dominant and more efficient, i.e., pitch deeper into games, if the Twins are going to contend for the wildcard.

And what happened the last couple times we were in control in mid August ,  pitching staff  and Bullpen got exposed ,   batters never showed up !!!!!!!

Or just get healthy.......

Buxton, Wallner and Keaschel are top 5 in the lineup...most teams can't lose 3/9 of the starting lineup and still expect to put up big numbers.  And Bader being hurt doesn't help either.

Wallner is healthy enough to be crushing in rainy chill AAA games....why isn't he on this road trip to Florida?

Fundy responsible for 5 of the Rays 14 runs this series. 🤢🤮

I really hope Coulombe can return soon. SWR.is pitching today.. was thinking he'd be a candidate for long relief

It’s going to be long time for wild season to start-twins need to start winning again. Would be massive disappointment if we don’t make playoffs/have winning  record.

Does Fundy still carry the 'prospect' label - not sure why they don't remove him from the 40-man roster and bring up Anthony Misiewicz. I get the need for having a lefty in the pen but when that lefty is Fundy, what's the point?

Cleveland just broke the Dodgers. They had their Alcala game. You heard it here.

Dodgers will just out and trade for 4-5 all star pitchers. Problem solved.

Thought Royce was ready to break out after that series in Milwaukee...oops.

Was Julien sub .100 before they sent him down?

Lewis is not far from it.

I was skeptical that Royce would save us, but I also don't think he's this bad.

Still hurt?  League completely figured him out?

This is why I'm not over the moon about Keaschall yet.  Lotsa guys are amazing for a short run in MLB.

Not saying he won't be good, but don't think he's the savior yet either.

The great thing about baseball is that you never know what game will be the start of something, good or bad. It'll be okay, Peter.

The league certainly made adjustments - but I think he's his own worst enemy right now. He doesn't trust his legs and is playing not go get hurt when he's in the batters box.

Then he should try to singles, not easily caught fly balls.
