In other news, Steven Kwan pulled from the game with wrist inflammation.  Maybe the Cleveland voodoo magic is wearing off

Take what we can get.. but I do hope it's nothing major.

Peter, this lends itself to sooooooooooo many questions.

Days are ruined when twins lose

The Twins' line-up didn't necessarily figure anything out during the winning streak. They got hot and stayed that way for a while. But going back to the second game of the DH against Cleveland, the bats have been scuffling and I just think that's who this group is. Starting pitching will have to be dominant and more efficient, i.e., pitch deeper into games, if the Twins are going to contend for the wildcard.

Still 5 games over .500

Lots to like but the offense isn’t one of them.

With upcoming schedule 5 games over .500 wont last long. Won’t beat Seattle/win one against A’s then be lucky to win on homestand-it’s going to get worse before it gets better

We’ve basically become the Seattle Mariners. Pitching staff that’s capable of 90+ wins with a slightly above average offense. But stuck with an offense that holds the team back to 85 ish wins.

Just hope we can contend first wild card. Can’t rely on pitching. Bats have to start producing. Otherwise it’s going to be long summer

A's have been horrible for weeks. Perhaps the re-visit there will remove Royslump's curse. Perhaps not as it's in Sacramento. Someone has to drive him up to the Coliseum to pay his respects..

Yup. That's a good comparison.

They would lose without them but Lopez dinger fest by Tampa Bay, is what makes this REAL bad.
