Here's how dialed in this Twins starting staff has been  over the last 12 games, and since Joe Ryan's 6ER clunker. In these 12 starts they haven't given up more than 2 ER.

68 INN (5.67 INN per start)

61 H      (5.08 Hits per start)

16 ER     (1.33 ERA)

66 KS    (5.5 KS per start)

19 BB     (1.58 BB per start)

WHIP     (1.18)

These are incredible numbers. I get it was against crappy teams but give the Twins starters a lot of credit. These numbers are spectacular.

Very true. Who would have thought with Ryan coming off significant injury last year, and with a throw together 4th and 5th starter they would be this dialed in.

Just checking in... Clemens HR to RF in Fenway park, wouldn't have predicted that. It is a hard stadium to hit HRs that way. Nice to see Ober cruising. Correa needs to swap spots in the lineup with Bader, he's cost this team enough runs with his un-clutch hitting.

We are at the point where the unpleasant question arises of who to pitch the late innings. I'd guess Coulombe is off limits and ok if Louie is too. The old Sands Jax Duran plan seems likely if the weather breaks and the score holds for now.
