This is the first time I've had the guts to start a topic...

The Twins first ST game is in 8 days. I'm sure I'm not the only one that's overly anxious to see live baseball, even if it's mostly rookies trying out for the team.
I watch with MLB-TV since I live out of the territory.  Right now they are not showing any ST on the TV schedule. I don't remember how this works. I know not every game is televised but is there a source where we can see some sort of schedule? Am I missing something?
I'm in my 70s but right now I feel like I'm 10.

First off, welcome! Baseball is back, and that's always a good thing.

I checked the schedule too and don't see any tv listings for spring as of today. I have to think that'll be posted at some point, but as of right now there is nothing listed.

Spring training games will have a tv component I have to imagine, right? Especially with the launch of Twins tv, I'd imagine rolling out that schedule will be here in due time.

Have a great day!

I subscribed to MLB.tv a few years ago and they had most teams spring training games available. That was during the peak Bally's fiasco so I'm assuming they will have them again now that Twin's games are more easily available.

I wish I had an answer. Over the years, it's been my experience that a few weekend games are on the radio. I've caught a few ST games in the past on TV. IIRC some of them were on MLB TV as they sort of ramp up for the season. I WANT to say a couple were on the MLB package but can't recall correctly at the moment.

Sorry, wish I had more to offer. And since we're entering new territory, I'd say just keep checking the APP often, and if you have MLB TV on your TV package, keep looking for ST games that they might offer.

They have an extremely poorly formatted/presented table of the broadcast schedule here. I copied that into Excel and cleaned it up best I could.

Ditto the thanks. It's nice to see it in one table.
They finally are showing the games on the MLB-TV Live and Archived Games schedule. At least a majority of games are watchable from somewhere. I guess if you watch through Twins-TV without the MLB-TV option you get less Twins games?

I hope everyone can enjoy baseball over the next month.

Looking at the TV schedule, we cannot boot the Pohlads out the door fast enough.

How on earth do they think people will be interested in their product WHEN NO ONE CAN WATCH THE ****ING PRODUCT.

Year after year, it's the same ******** with this team. Spend the extra five bucks, put more of your games on TV and at least a few of them BEFORE MARCH 15TH.

Argh, I'm so completely over the business side of this franchise. They're managed with absolutely no foresight or understanding of the fanbase.

They want to view it as a revenue center, and are coming around to the view that it's a cost center.  Or at least, that view is congruent with what we are seeing. Hopefully a new ownership sees it as the marketing tool that it is.

I completely agree but literally anyone with an understanding of the media landscape saw this coming years ago. Why on earth did it take them so many years to see what any casual user of the service saw?

I have very few problems with the baseball side of the organization. They're not perfect but they're fine, maybe even good.

But I have come to loathe the business side of the organization. I think they are (or were) utterly incompetent, to such a degree that even I find myself tuning out of the product. And if a team is losing people like me, "mismanagement" is a gross understatement of the problem.

The business side is clueless because there is/was no penalty for being clueless.

I trust the new ownership has done their homework and the dead weight will be ID'd and escorted from the premises.

Couldn't agree more. Instead of being proactive several years ago when it was clear that changes were needed, they chose to alienate the fan base for a quick money grab. Now, even if they do everything right, it'll take several more years to right the ship and gain back what was lost. Find out if Caitlin Clark is a Twins fan. Sign her up for several years to promote the Twins. Strike while the iron is hot.

To illustrate my point, today I will be watching my second Cubs game of the season.

The Twins will not broadcast a game for 23 more days.

Now suddenly it's on Twins.TV today. Pretty tough to stand that up two days after the schedule comes out. Bizarre.

It’s currently on the Pittsburgh feed, so I guess the Twins’ aren’t “broadcasting it”, it’s an away game
