That tension sucked.

I will say though, that last drive to run out the clock is encouraging. High percentage 4-6 yard passes is how you play that situation, but this is the first time the Vikings committed to that. If they learned from that, it hey might fix this close-game syndrome.

Yeah it never should have come down to that. I’ll never understand how you can dominate for 3.5 quarters on defense then just kind of let that happen

Agreed. If they do that on the drive where they miss the FG.....I think they score and use more clock.

Oh well, another nervous win!

The other offense is also playing with urgency. It must be impossible to do that all game or something

Second week in a row we will be playing a team coming off a Monday nighter 👀

Does tomorrow's Lion game matter somehow? They still would take the division by beating us next week. Would it affect a possible Eagles tie breaker for first seed?

Nope. Better conference record.

Winner of next week Lions Vikings game gets first seed no matter what.

Lions lose tomorrow and next week and they fall to the 3 seed and road game in Philly if Eagles win next week.  So they have real incentive to win.

A few thoughts

1) This game wasn't as close as the final score indicated and not worth worrying about. Once we were up by 17 in the fourth, it got really hard for GB to pull out the win. They needed to score, 3 and out, score, 3 and out, score. That's really, really hard to do for any team (unless your the Pats in a Superbowl against the Falcons or something). They got the first 3 and out but only because of a dubious holding call. They couldn't get another one.

2) I think Darnold was a bit nervous, he sailed a few key throws and nearly under threw Ackers on the last play. Hopefully this game really helps his confidence.

3) Flores' defense confused a really good QB for most of the game.

4) KOC is KOC. I think he could improve a bit on play calling/situational awareness but we don't get to 14-2 without him.

14-2 and #1 seed next week. Enjoy the ride!

I am still very wary, and not because of the post season losses, including the 4 Super Bowls; it is the last regular season game of 1969 when they lost to the Atlanta Falcons 3-10.

Atlanta had total of 111 yard in the game and still beat the Viking's record setting defense.

That will be omen to me till the Vikings win a Super Bowl.

He wasn’t as accurate on some throws. Seemed to hold on to it too long but that’s kind of been his thing. Crazy how that’s only been his second interception in months. Made the throws he needed to. Receivers pulled in some inaccurate passes. All in all, he played winning ball in the biggest game he’s had with us.

He does hang on to the ball too long and I'm surprised he gets away with it because it's usually while still in the pocket.

On the other hand, I really am down on the interior OL. If that ends up being next year's priority, wow, look out.

The Vikings might want to consider giving a phone call to the kicker they let go.

No, i'm pretty sure they are still 5th seed as best wild card if they don't win the division?

Sure, 3rd best record, but no qualitative difference.

I can't find the answer anywhere. When was the last time the packers were swept by both the Vikings and Lions in the same year?

Well I knew 2017 was the last year the Vikings swept them, looking at their schedule, the Lions did as well.
