As a huge fan of union labor, I have to say quit being a shill for Karl Marx.  Both sides are to blame.  There is plenty of greed to go around.

Don't know the guy. Sounds cool though.

If you can't afford to, or don't want to, pay for the luxury entertainment product then don't consume it. Then the market will correct itself. Easy as that.

The workers are not to blame for terrible management.

"Castellano is an intriguing right-handed pitcher on the verge of MLB readiness, and Minnesota is hoping it stumbled upon a steal."

This comment should be framed and hang on Falvey's wall at Target Field. The guy has spent his career trying to find nobody's who turn into diamonds.

Whatever happens thos off-season will most likely not bring me.back to Target Field this summer. Until we get a new ownership group committed to serious baseball and trying to be great, we'll continue lose quality players and gamble on less than guaranteed players.

Is it just me, or is anyone else out there tired of being on this roller coaster and want a breather?  One year we are overloaded with great corner outfield prospects.  The next year it is middle infield prospects.  The next year we are overloaded, period, with utility players of every shape and size.   This year we are over loaded with pitchers, and none of the fore mentioned is going to carry us.  And one of the big solutions is trade one of only two catchers, and a very good pitcher or two.

This group has only been here for 8 years; have we seen it all yet, or is there more fun in store?  🫠

We used eight starting pitchers last year and we all saw the results of that down the stretch.

Without Paddack (assuming he gets traded) we are already planning to use Matthews, Raya, and Adams this summer.

I would still argue that we need another starting pitcher.

Sasaki - hope that Zoll and Falvey have that presentation ready to go!

I can see MILB prospects being traded for a young, controllable player, and that would include pitchers like Lewis, Culpepper, and Soto. Remember, Chase Petty was moved for Gray.

Would they trade for a young OF? Maybe. But with Larnach and Wallner on hand, Rodriguez close, and Jenkins possibly only a year or so away, I have some doubts.

Could it be a young, powerful 1B? There's a need there for sure.

How about a young catcher with upside to team with Jeffers for the next few years? That might more sense since the top 2 catching prospects in the system, Cossetti and Cardenas, had poor seasons in 2024.

But after working so hard to get a rotation that starts with Lopez, Ober, and Ryan, and some good looking young arms that have just arrived, or are close to arriving, I think it would be a major mistake to suddenly trade away from the top spots in the rotation.

I don't think it would be wise to trade any of the top 3 starters, only Festa is really anywhere close that has that upside.  I suppose someone could blow them away for Lopez and shedding that contract would be worth it for a haul, but I doubt that is going to happen after his performance last year.

It hurts but logically I think Duran is most tradeable arm that will bring something of real value back.  Jax can take over closer, Stewart if healthy is elite setup, someone of Alcala/ Sands or a wildcard like Canterino/ Varland steps up to setup.

As for the return they are seeking less valuable positions which should lower the cost some.  They don't need a SS/ CF/ C/ 2nd they need a corner guy that can mash.  That should make a reliever as the main return a more realistic possibility.

Duran for a young COF or First Base or 3rd Base that real plus offensive potential?

If I correctly decypher this poorly written sentence, I wholeheartedly agree.  This is the same content I've read nearly daily since the World Series ended.  By the way, who won?

There is a reason for why things were ordered the way they were. Congratulations, you proved my reasoning was correct
