  1. Zeb was good last night and, overall, his starts this spring/summer have been good. He is making the case for a regular rotation spot in 2027 and I'm here to support that.
  2. It would be a great story and if this team stays around .500, it will mean he's playing well and playing every day. Let's talk on Sept 1st.
  3. To much information for my blood. 62 years old and I just want to know if a guy can hit, hit with runners in scoring position, and strikeout as little as possible. To me, that's a professional hitter
  4. I'm also pulling for him, maybe for a different set of reasons. As a #1 overall pick, if the Twins can't get him right, 50% is on them and a franchise that refuses to engage in free agency in a serious way, cannot blow a #1 overall pick in the draft. I believe Royce still has a chance to be that guy, the Twins have control for multiple years, keep coaching him and let him figure it out.
  5. Trading Joe Ryan makes all the sense in the world. There is no reason to keep and pay this guy when you're not serious about winning championships. Get all you can for him and possibly Buxton as well.
  6. A) Buxton is healthy and Shelton plays him every day. B) Bradley is better than we thought and Ober is pitching very well, better than expected. C) While we still lack power, guys are getting clutch hits at important times. Offense is still a work in progress for sure. D) The division is awful and the American League in general isn't very good right now. Let's enjoy these 55 games and see where it goes.
  7. I don't think Kriedler and Gray can both be viable keepers; pick one and move on. Clemens, with his versatility, is an easy to give a deal to for 2027, sometime after July 1st
  8. This, 💯 The 1st step in fixing a problem is admitting you have a problem. The ego on this kid needs to be flushed and he has to admit that his plan is not working. If he does that, he can become an All-star
  9. Don't disagree but I don't think this organization wants to start his clock in May. I believe he'll be up this year at some point but July 1 is more reasonable than now, in my opinion.
  10. Agree 💯 with this. Culpepper can wait, starting his clock in a year where 75 wins will be viewed as a success seems silly. Let him play and have success in St. Paul and go slow.
  11. Does he? I don't see Zoll having the green light to make any decisions besides scanning the DFA market and finding 39 year old pitchers that no one else wants.
  12. SWR needs to come up with a plan B very quickly. His ERA is currently over 7 and there is no indication that he knows how to change speed and/or location with any amount of success. Last night was BP for the Marlins. Zeb up today, SWR could go to the IL tomorrow and maybe figure it out. "Arm fatigue" could be his diagnosis.
  13. I'll pump the brakes on what has been a very good 5 weeks for Lee. I don't believe SS is his long term position but I believe he can be a .270 hitter with doubles being part of his deal. Royce, Wallner, and Keaschall have got to figure it sooner rather than later. The rope on Royce and Wallner can't be very long right now
