Why did we trade a good prospect for margot

Noah Miller sucks and even the Dodgers couldn't fix him this year. But still, a bucket of balls is too much for Margot.

Zebby deserved a better fate. Bats need to wake up. Fedde isn't fooling anyone.

We couldn't get to him in Chicago either.

TC sweeping Atlanta would be golden.  3 TC wins and helps my NYM in wildcard.

The Twins do not sweep. If they take the first 2 they will let the foot off the gas in the third game and settle for a series win.

Apparently you can catch foul balls when your foot is on the steps inside the dugout?

You can definitely catch it.  The question is should it count as an out?

It was definitely questionable, I don't know how the broadcast didn't mention it at all.

The top of the strike zone is not at the hitter's belt as depicted by the white box displayed on the TV screen. Any guesses why they don't display a more accurate visual for the fans?

I've always had the opinion that umps would call a much better game calling pitches from behind the mound. They're completely guessing on pitches that are low or that they're set up away from.

Only need one foot in play when making a catch near dugout/stands.  But that also includes diving into the stands, dugout for it.  Burleson was legal there.

Thanks for the clarification.

Yet its a line that umps (some more then others) seem to subconsciously use as the dividing line between ball-strike.  This despite their ability to see the line depicted on TV.

Don’t understand the Fedde domination. Come on Twins, in game adjustments?

Like the Vikes I dont think TC does in game adjustments.

If the Twins are not good at making in game adjustments I don't think we're allowed to say who's bailiwick that would fall under.

Actually, neither foot needs to be in play. He could have, for example, been airborn.

However, if one or both feet were grounded inside the dugout--out of play--it's not a legal catch. Same for any out of play area. An outfielder, for example, cab leap at the wall and make a catch over the wall. However, he can't plant a body part (hand, foot) out of play and then make the catch.

In this case I think it was a legal catch.

Yes, hence why I put the part about diving in there.  =)
