The taxi ride across town is enough to get his stomach in his throat.

Wouldn't he take an Uber?  😉

How did the Twins luck into Carlos Santana? The guy looks like he's at the height of his career, not the tail end.

Also, Sim is doing some good pitching, moving the ball around, not giving them a pattern. He is more deceptive than I realized.

It's like Julien thinks his strike zone is a keyhole, yet he swings at a ball up and in that he'd have no shot of hitting.  He's really regressed at the ML level.  If it requires him to get a frontline starter at the deadline, I'm definitely pulling that trigger.

Maybe last winter - not now.

it's definitely the base stealing that seals the deal

frontline starter  ?   Thinking we would have to give up alot more than Julien  .  low level reliever = maybe, your right on point with his batting approach, has anyone told him he cant challenge a call like in st,p he stands there looking like he wants to !!

One statement and one question:

. Wheeler has thrown 34 pitches in 2 innings

. If Jullian has such a great eye why doesn't he swing at close pitches with 2 strikes?

Yeah, there'd be more involved than just him.  I'm not naive to think only he could command that haul.

Yuck...that's one of the worst places for a HP umpire to get a foul ball.  You think you're protected but it's pretty minimal.

Man, Sim's command was right on in that inning. He's really moving the ball around, and when he needed a high heater, he nailed the top of the zone. I can see why hitters are frustrated. They have no idea where the next pitch is going, yet Sim can throw a tough strike when he needs to.

Faster  Vasquez or  Jeffers, ?  or Goofier ?
