Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 94 pitches, 66 for strikes with 1 walk. And still gets the hook *and now won’t get the win
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Ryan deserves better ... again Patzky 1
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 2 bleeding heart base hits sinks the lead. I understand staying low to try to get a ground ball but with a 2-2 count, I thought he could waste a belly-high heater and see if he could get Diaz to chase considering his eye line was low low low after the sequence of pitches. Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Sands has largely been terrible pitching with leads in close games since later April (I believe). Yet we still try to make it a thing. Patzky 1
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Hum Okert doesn't clean up others' messes so well. Mayhap should have just started him right off the bat.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 with 7-8-9 up for the rays, Ryan deserved a chance at 94 pitches, Sands and close games -- i dont get it

They used the more reliable guys yesterday. Patzky 1

That’s when you leave the starter who’s doing a really good job in as long as you can Parfigliano, Schmoeman5, mrtwinsfan and 2 others 5

TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Jackson is a liability. Sands is largely a liability. Staumont needs more run.
