It consistently amazes me how professional umpires can call a strike on a pitch that was never in the zone.  The looping pitch that they claim clip the outside edge or the top edge of the zone.  It tells me that they pay way too much attention to framing instead of watching the pitch the whole way through.

This game just does not appear to be going our way.   Castro's stumble at first cost us an early run, the Roverdt hit to left that started the eighth, Diaz two hits that neither traveled 50 feet, a bad call on Martin and the decision to use Sands in a close game.   Not looking like our night.
