All over the league this is happening. Truly not allowed by rule. But the umps don't enforce it, just as they don't enforce where the base coaches roam. I think that the managers don't object because their guys like to do it, too, to get a better grip on the timing, etc as they bat. Someone is going to get hurt really bad before it is reigned in, I fear.
