insagt1 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Not too late for Lopez to get his act together. So far quite a disappointment but he could change all that if he can be the guy they traded for. I'm hopeful Patzky 1
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Lopez can start by being the guy that does not give up HR's.
CRF Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 The weather might throw a wrench in tonight's game. The forecast isn't looking good right now. Hope we can get it in. Craig Arko, Patzky and jkcarew 2 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 It's the Rays only visit to Target Field. My guess is that there will be delays but that they find a few hours each day to get all three of the games in. It won't be great for the players or fans, but doubleheaders and makeup games are a headache. The field drains well, so footing shouldn't be too much of a problem. FlyingFinn 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 If he is healthy, Pablo should turn it around. He's still allowing less hits the innings pitched and striking out more than one per inning. His FIP is more than a full run lower than his actual ERA. He's allowed too many big innings and long balls.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Easier said than done, but they should have moved this game to the early afternoon. The thunderstorms are slated to begin at 7 tonight. CRF and jkcarew 2
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Left MN yesterday morning through the rain. Got back to SE NM in the afternoon and its 107 and hasnt rained here for months. Only supposed to be 105 today.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Tornado watch until 8:00 PM. Rain should be ending somewhere around 2:00 AM. Seems unlikely this one gets in. Of course, it’s a strange world. jkcarew 1
Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Even if they got it started like an hour early, maybe they could get the whole game in or close. But I know they don't just bump up times for pro ball games. At least I don't think so. Patzky 1

jkcarew Verified Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Looking less and less likely that this will be played. As mentioned, need to think about moving games up this week. Looks like we’re in a pattern of high-humidity days that yield to rain in the late afternoon/evening. Patzky 1
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 No 'delay' shown on MLB yet (6:18 pm CDT)

I'm not so good at taking instruction. One is only half full? Or does the other pour... poorly? I suppose lemonade has to come from somewhere.
