MLB has had their share of abusers allowed back in to the game too, to be fair.

True, but this was super high stakes, high visibility, dozens of women. Maybe not as pathological as Sharper, but he is in prison now, not living it up on a quarter billion.

Yeah sorry to derail a thread I'm not a regular on. I've had my say anyway and y'all are right, no profession is immune.

Heck no, you’re entitled to an opinion like the rest of us! Not like there’s anything else to talk about with this blowout. I switched over to the three stooges anyway 😂

What are Akayleb Evans, Mekhi Blackmon, and Andrew Booth up to now?

Cleveland has no one to blame but themselves. I think it was pretty clear that signing a guy like Watson, especially to that obscene contract, could only end poorly for those involved. Karma is a bitch. There is no way I would ever consider involving myself with that garbage.

Thank goodness we didn’t hire someone from that organization to run our team.

*Checks Kwesi Kupcake’s CV*

Dang.

So fully gauranteed money to a morally bankrupt often injured QB was a bad idea...who knew.

I'm guessing their owner felt a kinship in this regard.

I don’t get the hype with Tua

He's certainly benefited from the offensive system, but tonight was never going to be a good showing. The Dolphins scored about 7 more points than I thought they would. When Mostert got stuffed on the first two offensive plays for Miami, it was pretty much over.

It was a complete shock that a native Hawaiian, that played college football in the south, and currently plays in Miami, didn’t dominate in below zero weather…

It’s like saying I don’t get the hype with Tim Wakefield if he pitched in a monsoon.

I've probably seen him play only 15-20 including college. He's always had a great offensive team around him and he's got good numbers, but I wouldn't consider Tua an elite QB. Stroud, OTOH, just might be something special.

Beware the Alabama QB.  For all his success, Saban never really figured out how to get a QB that could play at a high level in the NFL.  My theory is that Alabama had so much talent that QBs never really had to do anything other than not screw up.  That doesn’t work when you get to the NFL.

Mahomes is a Texan and looked pretty good to me. Tua should have played better in warm Miami last week. He had a slightly lower rating and threw for less yards against the Bills. 2 picks, one of which ended the game. Could have gotten a home game had they won that one.

Mahomes is the best QB on the planet. Yeah, he’s pretty good. Your argument for not getting the Tua hype is losing to the red hot Buffalo Bills? He looked pretty good against Denver when they put up 70 points.

My argument is, if you’re going to use the weather excuse, he played poorly, even worse, in nice warm Miami with the division on the line. They beat precisely one team all year with a winning record. Doesn’t mean he’s trash, he’s just not elite. I’d rather have Kirk 😉
