Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Hammer and Poor KC defense... That's a great combo!!! OK Ash... Your off the hook.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I think the rightfielder was staring at some girl in the stands or something. Willy got a double on a line drive to the right fielder, and Escobar scored from first. So if Morneau hits it out he should get 6 bases.

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Yeah but how many of those 51 strikeouts can be directly attributed to Ashbury? Do we attribute the run to me as well, then?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Nice hit and run3-2 count. Technically, not a H&R.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I'm watching the KC feed and they just showed a slow replay of that (non-technical) hit and run. The rightfielder absolutely was frozen until Escobar had rounded second base and the ball had bounced well into the outfield. Then he got the ball and threw a popup to the pitcher. If he had thrown the ball well into second I think they would have had the Hammer out.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I can't keep up tonight. Got word my daughter is having knee surgery this Friday, so I may be scarce for a week or more.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Do we attribute the run to me as well, then? Yes I Do... You are all powerful. That Tsunami in Japan.. That was on you As well. All the flotsam floating over and washing up on the Oregon Coast. Docks, Furniture, Yoko Ono... All on you.

If he had thrown the ball well into second I think they would have had the Hammer out. If he had thrown the ball to second, Hammer wouldn't have continued on to second. As it was, Hosmer cut the ball and missed a chance at Hammer going to second. Had he cut and immediately went to second they'd have had Hammer. Ugly play by the KC defense all the way around.

big dog Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 The KC broadcasters are talking about Guthrie getting squeezed by the ump, then when they show the pitch on Foxtrack it looks way outside. Is the Twins broadcast showing the same thing? These pitches they complain about (he's not getting the outside corner) look way outside to me.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Pretty nice PA by Parms there. EDIT: Followed by a pretty bad one by Dozier.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Three walks in the inning and only one run. You've got to make them pay for that.

Thanks, that's how I saw it but not at all how I said it. Hosmer could have had him pretty easily.

I see Family walking past my Window... The guy is juggling oranges and the girl is walking backwards and the child is invisible and eating a sandwich... All I can see is the sandwich going up and down with new bite marks each time. As for the Ump... Nothing out of ordinary,

Tore it up 18 months ago skiing, got the ACL surgery, it's never been quite right, and it looks like the meniscus didn't mend itself so they're going in for a look. My wife babysat the last time, this time I'll go down there and help out until she feels well enough and/or is sick enough of me to send me back home.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 only 1 error on Florimon??official scoring is a joke these daysIt's probably scored as a two base error.
