Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I realize that, but I am wondering what that actually means. As in, what does it mean to sound like an owl LOL... I am crying with laughter right now... OK... Try to play along... Lets try again... Someone told me you sounded like an owl.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Who? Ding Ding Ding... God I love the game thread!!!
big dog Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I'm listening to the KC broadcast this game. They aren't as inane as DickBert can be, but man, it's still only a quarter-step above listening with the sound off. Or five steps above listening to Harrelson.

Give me Dickbert any day. Or Harrelson. Or dead air. Or the Dead Kennedys.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Actually, it's "whom." That one caught me off guard... I was trying to guess what it was by saying Grammar Nazi really fast over and over again. I though testicles were going to be grabbed in the joke somehow.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 There's something you don't see every day...Mauer with a can of corn to left.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I think that walk is further proof that Mauer and Morneau have switched bodies.

The term "Can of Corn" was coined around the turn of the century... Grocers use to knock cans of corn down from the top shelf with a hooked stick and catch the can in their Apron. Ashbury remembers the exact moment like it was yesterday.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Looks like Doumit got tired of sucking and decided to do something about it.

My softball team used to holler "can o' corn" and "piece o' cake," until one too many beers turned it into "can o' cake" and "piece o' corn"

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Mmmm, can o'cake That is a fantastic idea... We need a business plan and investors.
