Garcia is out, which weakens Texas. Jankowski is a decent player though. Weird to have both teams using bullpens today, but i guess their starting depth is weak.

Heaney started 28 games for Texas this year.  I suppose Texas will use their bullpen, eventually.

Can someone explain the rationality of a bullpen game in game 4 of the WS. If tomorrow was an off day I can understand it. But to use 6 or 7 arms with game 5 tomorrow.  Is the hope you get 7 innings out of your starter tomorrow. I thought Texas might be in trouble losing Garcia and Scherzer.  Tonight it looks like the D-Backs are done. Have fun Chief 👍

Im wondering the same thing.  Unless there's something I dont know going on with the AZ pitching staff its idiotic.

Those at bats will be helpful tomorrow though. The last thing Texas wanted to do was use Smith and Leclerc tonight after going up 10.

Which, coincidentally, is also the location of the boneyard.

 

Chief Jr Jr got gifted 2 ducats for last night's game and he invited the old man.

My knees almost didn't survive the climb, but a good time was had by all, until top 2.

I had a lot of sympathy when it was 10-0 in only the third.  I wouldn't exactly say they came back and made a game of it, but there were a good number of  moments when the home crowd could cheer, and I hope you enjoyed the atmosphere.
