Something you'd like to get off your chest after all these years. Indy?

Not really.  Don't remember ever seeing one while growing up in St. Cloud.  Knew about them only by reputation.

Pro players learn the umps strike zone; rookies strike out.

This ump's strike zone is very inconsistent, kinda hard to figure out when a pitch is called a ball once and a strike the next time...

Today's trivia:

How many times did the Chicago White Sox actually wear those uniforms with shorts in an MLB game?

My guess was 5. But I looked it up so I won't spoil it

Back on the east coast, when I was a youngster, we had Good Humor AND Mr Softee. Anyone remember Mr Softee?

Yes, xBa doesn't take direction of field into the equation so that would be a can of corn in center. I haven't seen an explanation why when pull and oppo are recorded for every ball.

Mmmm corn!

I like ears more than cans.

Big ears i can shuck myself.

Three. Three times too many, but only three.

For some reason, I knew the answer to this without looking it up, but here's proof.

Then it is best to foul them off like most top contact hitters do till they get the one they want.

Miami wins. They qualify for the postseason and eliminate the Cubs.

St. Louis leading Cincinnati. If that holds up Arizona is in and the Reds are out.

I have heard the jingles in the neighborhood. For some reason the entertainer comes to mind.
