Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I’m so sick of Dallas. All the media attention and hype every single year. Struggling with Seattle

The longer the season goes, the more teams appear to be in the market for a drafted QB. The following teams could draft one IMO: cardinals, bears, giants, falcons, saints, Bucs, rams, falcons, patriots, jets, and possibly Vegas and the broncos. Pretty much all those teams will finish ahead of the Vikings except for maybe Denver. The position is so important to success and failure, teams will overdraft on QBs. Remember, Zack Wilson went TWO OVERALL. He doesn’t even appear to be a competent backup at this point. Vikings went on a run and hurt their draft status. And they may not even make the playoffs, at the benefit of the packers. Worst of all worlds Man, wouldn't it be something if the Bears said, "**** it, let's roll with Fields" and then drafted Harrison and traded down to get more picks? Hosken Bombo Disco 1

At this point they would have two top 5 picks since they traded with Carolina last year. I wouldn’t be shocked if they drafted a qb
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Absolute ref show tonight in favor of Dallas

Struggling with Seattle Prescott is playing the best football of his career, but their defense is getting cooked at home against a Seahawks offense that has been up and down this year. Exciting game, far better than most clunkers we're getting on primetime.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Seattle drops to 6-6 and and 5-4 in conference. Vikings are 6-3 in the nfc so they are currently the 6 seed 😂

If Cousins hadn't got hurt, we could have made some noise in the playoffs.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Just saw a mock where six QBs go before the Vikings even pick. Of course, I think they'll move up about four picks....
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Lions jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first 7 minutes against the saints and now only lead 27-21. Too bad we didn’t win Monday.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Saints with the ball down 5. 6 minutes left
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Famous Jameis missed some wide open receivers or the saints could have won
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Reports are it won't be Hall......blech
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Love watching the eagles get trounced and seeing their crybaby coach whine all game Mike Sixel 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Really needed the browns to beat the rams. Not looking good
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Of course the browns miss the would be tying extra point. Rams threatening to score. Would be 6-6 and right in the playoff mix
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Pretty crazy how we beat San Fran, and they just undressed the Eagles in Philly. Fully healthy, they are a scary squad that we probably aren't beating again if we do encounter them in the playoffs. Mike Sixel 1

Or Dallas.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Packers up 14-3 on KC. They have by far the easiest schedule after tonight. I can easily see them passing us by, especially with a win tonight
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Shaping up to be an all around bad day for Vikings fans lol GB just intercepted mahomes with about 5:30 left, up by 5. Four teams would be 6-6 if the packers win. Still have the best conference record among those teams
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Hate the packers but there is some absolute horse 💩 officiating going on in this game
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Now an absolute dog 💩 call that benefits GB lol

I didn't think the contact in the end zone on the Hail Mary should have drawn a flag. Aggies7 and Danchat 2
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Looking like they are going with Dobbs, and I am not amused. It's Zimmer all over again. Seriously, between this and getting all conservative at the end of games, I am wondering who the coach even is at this point.

An article on line said that defenses against Dobbs now concetrate on stopping his running game. One reason he did not do better against Chicago.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I don't like it. O'Neill got destroyed by Montez Sweat, which was probably a big reason why Dobbs didn't roll out to his right. Now he's going up against Maxx Crosby, who's even better than Sweat.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I'm ok with rolling with Dobbs. Worst case, we lose every game and get better chances at a QB in the draft. Best case, he's capable like he's shown at times. KOC has to change some calls but with Jefferson back, Dobbs should be better. Also, the NFC is full of flawed teams. We beat SF and they destroyed Philly on the road. RpR and Parfigliano 2
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I like the idea of JJ McCarthy, but I keep reading about speculation that the Vikings are interested due to Adofo-Mensah's connection to Jim Harbaugh. If Kwese drafts a QB due in any part to his relationship with the QBs college head coach, he shouldn't be GM. Hearing similar reports is going to turn me off of McCarthy. Another thought to go along with that one: If Harbaugh is done at Michigan and returns to the NFL, will the team that signs him be the presumptive landing spot for McCarthy? Urban Meyer wisely (the only thing he wisely did) drafted Trevor Lawrence over Justin Fields, but it seemed there was consideration otherwise for quite some time. Mike Sixel 1

I actually am beginning to think they and Detroit are the three best teams in teh NFL.....and the Cowboys are also good, and GB is trending right. At the same time KC and Buffalo and Cincy are not....
