Gallo gets on average two hits a week and one is for extra bases.  His defense has to be Platinum Glove level to be even considered for a spot on this roster and it is not.  If this was any other player not named Buxton or Correa they would have been gone long ago.

Boras might have had something to do with this signing, but what about Levine? He is the one who probably pushed for this. This organization is tough to read. Levine is the GM, correct? How come we never hear from him? It seems Falvey is out front leading this org. I am confused on what Levine's actual role is.

It is hard to watch Joey. I feel bad for the guy, but he has made some great money, time for the tough decision.

It's time.   By shear numbers, once Lewis and Kirilloff come back, Joey Gallo can no longer be on the Minnesota Twins roster.   Gallo is Miguel Sano.2, who can play a little more defense and walk more frequently.  His plate appearances are painful.

Sorry but the time to dump Gallo has long passed.  It was a poor signing to start with.  If we don't have anyone in the organization that can play a better first base and hit, then this team is in real trouble.

Also clearly disproves the oft-repeated mantra that "strikeouts are just like any other out."

Having a guy on your roster who is hitting .170:with a 50%:strikeout rate does not help the team. The FO just won’t admit signing Gallo was an $11 million mistake, so he stays on the roster and keeps whiffing at an historic rate.

When Lewis and Kirilloff return, we will see who the FO really are. Will they be about winning, or will they continue to dance with Boras?
